Those of you who are familiar with the center of Ibiza and are more or less attentive to fashion will have noticed some time ago that Front Line closed its doors. Front Line was part of the Adlib label and was open for over 40 years, was a favorite of Naomi Campell and other celebrities, and in its place will open an Australian luxury brand for women, Zimmermann. On its website you can see dresses at 3,000 euros and it is difficult to find products below 500 and very easy to find garments whose price is around a thousand euros. Zimmermann already announces its opening soon after the closed doors of the store located opposite the Port of Ibiza, at the junction of the avenues Bartomeu de Roselló, Ramon i Tur, and Bartomeu Vicent Ramón street.
Farewell to an iconic boutique
The historic boutique closed its doors almost a year ago last December. The reason is that its owner, Susan April Brown, had reached the moment of a well-deserved retirement. “I should have retired years ago,” she said at the time in a conversation with El Periódico de Ibiza. She also recalled that she was inspired for her first creations on the island of ’80 in which “there was a lot of disco roll”. Therefore, he sought to develop collections “in line with the Ibizan night”. On the other hand, in the same interview, the owner of Front Line expressed that she preferred the Ibiza “of before”, “of nature and good people, without so much posturing”.
Zimmermann arrives in Ibiza, where Front Line was located.
Zimmermann, which will be located in the coveted Ibiza shopping corner where Front Line once stood, is a luxury brand of Australian origin.

It was founded by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann in the ’90s. Today, it has more than fifty stores in several countries, such as England and the United States. In 2022, it debuted at Paris Fashion Week.
