The Consell de Ibiza has announced the postponement of the Festa de Tardor, which was to be held this Saturday at 11.00 am at the Museu Etnogràfic d’Eivissa, Can Ros, in Puig de Missa in Santa Eulària.
The decision has been taken after consulting the weather forecasts, which announce rain and possible storms during the day. The insular institution informs that it is already working on the search for a new date, which will be communicated in the coming days.
The Consell regrets the postponement and appreciates the understanding of the public
In the official statement released this Friday, the Consell de Ibiza regrets the situation and thanks the understanding of attendees, artisans and collaborators.
“We regret to inform that, due to bad weather forecast, the Fall Fest scheduled for tomorrow must be postponed. We are working on finding a new date and will inform you as soon as possible. We reiterate our apologies and thank everyone for their understanding,” the institution states.
The Festa de Tardor, which this year incorporated as a novelty the first Fira de l’Espart d’Eivissa, had planned to offer a day dedicated to crafts, music and Ibizan traditions, with workshops, performances and a sample of products made with esparto grass.
Although the event cannot be held this weekend, the Consell remains committed to rescheduling the event so that the public can soon enjoy a day that combines heritage, culture and sustainability.
