Diversión para toda la familia en Cuidinfants

The City Council of Santa Eulària, through the Department of Children and Youth, organizes the sixth edition of Cuidinfants, an event designed for children aged 3 to 11 years. The celebration will take place on Saturday, November 22, from 11.00 to 18.00 hours, in the Passeig Solidari.

This year, the theme is aligned with UNICEF’s proposal: children’s rights in the digital environment, under the slogan “Stand up for Children’s Rights”. Throughout the day, digital rights and the importance of protecting children on the Internet will be discussed, in addition to recalling the 10 fundamental rights of children, such as equality, identity, education, health, play and protection from abuse.

The program will start with the concert of the Youth Band of the School of Music of Santa Eulària at 11.00 am, followed by the ball pagès of the Colla des Broll at 12.00. At 12.30, members of the Consell de Participació Infantil i Juvenil will read the manifesto of 20N, coinciding with World Children’s Day.

Inclusive workshops, local culture and community involvement

The day will bring together associations linked to functional diversity, such as Ibiza IN, Apfem, Apneef, Actef, ONCE, Disfam and A IF, which will set up information tables and offer inclusive workshops. APIMA of IES Quartó del Rei will also participate, reinforcing the joint work between entities, families and educational community.

The storytelling corner “Respecte i punt, senalló violeta” will remain open throughout the day to raise awareness against violence against women through reading. In addition, there will be workshops on customizing hats and creating massage oils, designed to stimulate creativity and shared play.

A gymkhana to enjoy with the family and a day without breaks

Among the most anticipated proposals is the family gymkhana “Ponts del món”, inspired by travel and the paths that connect people and cultures. Each stop will become a “bridge” to new learning in teams. To participate, groups of 2 to 4 people (with at least one adult) must be formed and send the registration form to puntjove@santaeularia.comindicating full name, date of birth and telephone number.

As a novelty, this year Cuidinfants will have a food truck area, allowing the day to develop without interruptions and offering a gastronomic option for all ages. A perfect combination for families to enjoy leisure, education and coexistence throughout the day.
