The City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany, through the Department of Social Welfare and the Municipal Drug Plan (PMD), organizes the third edition of the spinning workshop on the occasion of World No Alcohol Day. The activity, open to all citizens, will take place on Saturday November 15, from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, in the Passeig de ses Fonts.
During the session, participants will be able to do the activity for as long as they wish, alternating with other attendees, in a morning designed to enjoy sports, music and an open-air atmosphere. The objective is to promote physical exercise as a healthy leisure alternative and to raise awareness about the prevention of alcohol consumption and other addictions.

Sport, health and community
The day seeks to involve the entire population in a collective experience of wellness, where sport acts as a meeting point and an engine for change. The Alcoholics Anonymous Association will participate with an information table, offering resources and advice on support services available for individuals and families affected by alcohol consumption.
Likewise, the PDS Association (Promoció i Desenvolupament Social) joins this year with the exhibition “Sortim”, an exhibition composed of ten graphic images that invite to reflect on the risk behaviors associated with nightlife. The exhibition is especially aimed at young people from 14 years old, with the purpose of encouraging a critical and responsible look towards consumption.
A message of shared well-being
The councilman of Social Welfare, Jorge Nacher, has encouraged “the entire population to participate in this day, enjoy outdoor sports and celebrate the World Day without Alcohol with a healthy proposal and community awareness”.
With this initiative, Sant Antoni reaffirms its commitment to health promotion, addiction prevention and the creation of positive leisure spaces. A morning to pedal for health, share in community and celebrate wellness as a common value.
