The Eivissa Town Hall has presented this Wednesday the new models of letters addressed to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men, designed under criteria of accessibility and inclusion so that all children in the municipality can enjoy the Christmas illusion without barriers.
These letters are available in easy reading, with pictograms, various adaptations and also in Braille, both in Catalan and Spanish. Families can download them free of charge from the municipal website, www.eivissa.eswhile the Braille versions will be delivered in a personalized way through the Department of Social Welfare. In addition, the City Council will send these inclusive materials to schools, associations and local entities to ensure their dissemination.

After the official opening of the festivities, starting at 8:00 pm, the municipal tent will host the inclusive event Ibiza Love Retro, organized together with Aspanadif and Addif, thus reinforcing the active participation of local associations.
This year, the Santa Claus booth will have priority access for children with disabilities. The Three Kings Parade will also have spaces reserved for people with disabilities and their families, including anti-noise helmets so that children with acoustic hypersensitivity can enjoy the parade without discomfort.
All concerts, fireworks shows and municipal activities will incorporate specific areas to ensure the comfort and safety of all attendees.
Ses Figueretes, an example of accessibility on the island
Ses Figueretes beach has established itself as a benchmark in accessibility thanks to its adapted walkway, the inclusive bathing area, shaded areas, benches, a toilet with accessible shower and amphibious chairs for safe access to the sea.
In terms of mobility, the municipal buses will be fully accessible and the cab service has been extended to night time, thus meeting a historical demand of families and people with reduced mobility.
The number of parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities has also been increased, complying with current regulations and incorporating awareness-raising messages to encourage their correct use. At the same time, the process has begun to set up the Accessibility and Inclusion Committee, a body that will allow local associations to actively participate in the definition and monitoring of future measures.
