The City Council of Eivissa adds a new date to its Art and Music cycle with the performance of the duo formed by Belén Juan and Omar Guzmán, who will offer a concert this Sunday, November 30, at 7:00 pm in Es Polvorí. The proposal, marked by the fusion of styles and the experience of both artists, promises an afternoon full of excitement for residents and visitors.
Omar Guzmán’s trajectory: three decades of music in Eivissa
Cuban pianist Omar Guzmán arrived on the island in 1996 to join the mythical Teatro Pereyra, an essential meeting point for lovers of live music. A graduate of the Escuela Profesional de Música de Cuba, Guzmán has since developed a versatile and solid career, collaborating with such renowned voices as Ricardito and Muriel Fowler.
In addition to accompanying many local artists, the pianist has promoted his own projects and has participated in various jazz festivals, where he has demonstrated a great artistic personality and a style marked by mastery and improvisation.
Belén Juan: from lyric training to a consolidated project on the island
The singer Belén Juan began her training in 2010, combining lyrical singing with modern singing. Her versatility led her to be part of various blues, jazz and gospel bands, with which she performed on numerous stages in Eivissa.
