The Can Portmany Cultural Center, in Sant Rafel, is getting ready to open its doors to a new edition of the Mercat de l’Art de Nadal, which will take place from December 17 to January 3. The proposal, organized by the Associació MultiArt de Ibiza (AMAE), seeks to value local creation through a careful selection of contemporary works.
The official opening will be on December 17 at 6:00 pm and will bring together artists Ana Jakimow, Isabel Galán, David Martínez, Lucía Rodríguez, Cris AC, Marisa Benito, Jessica Sturgess and Marga Escandell. The exhibition will include pieces of painting, photography, illustration and other visual languages, offering a diverse and accessible tour for all audiences.
Visiting hours will be from Monday to Saturday, from 17:00 to 20:00 hours, while Sundays and holidays the space will be closed. From the organization emphasize that the Mercat de l’Art de Nadal works as a cultural meeting point for residents and visitors, as well as an opportunity to support the creators of the island during the holidays.
This edition seeks to consolidate itself as an essential event in the Christmas artistic calendar, putting Ibizan talent at the center and strengthening the link between community and culture in a close and festive atmosphere.
