Ibiza adds a new educational milestone with the launch of MUSEEC, the first digital course specialized in music curation and sound design aimed at professionals in the cultural, audiovisual and marketing industries. The initiative, promoted from the island by DIPEF (Association of DJs and Producers of Ibiza and Formentera), has the support of the European Union through EIT Culture & Creativity, consolidating Ibiza as a pole of training innovation in music and technology.
Coordinated by Christian Len, president of DIPEF, author of the book Balearic and co-founder of FLOOOD, MUSEEC is the result of an international alliance with Vilnius Tech University (Lithuania) and the Dutch consulting firm Collabwith, forming a pioneering educational project with global reach.
A digital program that professionalizes music curation
MUSEEC -acronymfor Music, Sound, Emotion, Experience & Curation-is a fully online e-course, accessible from any country and designed under a flexible model that combines in-depth classes, interviews, case studies, self-assessed exercises and “learn by doing” methodology. The learning culminates with a final project applied to the real market, developed with the mentoring of international experts.
Supported by the EU, the program elevates music curation to an academic discipline, integrating content on innovation, anthropology, neuroscience, entrepreneurship, sustainability, green tech, generative artificial intelligence, branding and experience design.
Its objective is to offer a strategic look at the impact of music on cultural narratives, behaviors and decisions within the audiovisual and communication industries.
An initiative of Media Music Project
The course is part of the Media Music Project, a music academy that promotes research and training at the intersection of music and other disciplines. Its mission is to develop new ways of working with music, enhancing not only its business dimension but also its cultural, therapeutic and community value.
The launch of MUSEEC in November 2025 responds to the growing global demand for music services linked to branding, AI, experience design and environment activation.
