Sant Josep de sa Talaia has presented the program of the Christmas Festivities 2025-2026, the most extensive in recent years. Nearly a hundred activities spread over the five nuclei of the municipality will turn these weeks into a great space of coexistence, culture and celebration.
The City Council stresses that the calendar is the result of the joint work of all departments and collaboration with clubs, associations, schools and cultural institutions. On the other hand, the mayor stresses that these festivities “reflect the strength of a municipality that knows how to work as a team and value what unites us,” noting that the program is designed for all ages and audiences.
The official lighting will be on Thursday, December 4, at 6 p.m., in the square of the Church of Sant Josep. The day will include a performance by the Cor de l’Urgell, a surprise performance and children’s activities in the pedestrian area. From then on, the Christmas spirit will spread throughout the municipality.
Music, sports and tradition for a very active December
On Friday, December 5, the Sant Jordi envelat will host the Cañas ‘n’ Roll 2025, with concerts by Stone Corners, Sant Rafel Playboys and Billy Flamingos, as well as the Burger Fest, where local associations will serve mini-burgers and drinks.
Afterwards, the agenda will continue with the Premis Sant Josep en Forma 2025 (December 12 in Caló de s’Oli) and the inauguration of the skating rink on December 13 in the street of the Town Hall, which will remain open until January. Similarly, that same day will come a new session of Cañas ‘n’ Roll to Sant Josep, while the municipality will host the II Edition Street Futbol UE Sant Josep. In Es Cubells, the Cor des Cubells will offer its traditional Christmas concert followed by a sobrassada torrada, one of the most awaited moments of the calendar.
Popular meetings, booths and the Fira de sa Sobrassada
Between December 16 and 19, Sant Jordi, Cala de Bou, Sant Josep and Sant Agustí will celebrate the Christmas Toasts for the elderly, which this year incorporate a system of prior registration in the senior clubs and the Basic Units of Social Services.
On December 19 it will be the turn of the Casetes de Nadal de Sant Jordi, which will bring together gastronomy, music and family activities. Meanwhile, the Fira de sa Sobrassada will be held in two locations:

Sant Josep, Saturday 20: workshops, frita popular, music and Sobrassada Rock, organized by Casa Majora Segle XXI.

Sant Jordi, Saturday 27: tapas, workshops and musical performances.
Families will also have an unmissable date with DIVERNADAL 2025, from December 27 to 30, at the Can Guerxo sports center, with giant inflatables, storytelling, creative workshops and escape games.
The month will close with the Soul Food Fest in Caló de s’Oli on December 28 and the solidarity chimes at noon on December 31 in Sant Josep and Sant Jordi.
Epiphany, the Three Kings, the parade and the closing of the festivities
The magic will continue on January 2 with the arrival of the Royal Postman and the Royal Page, who will visit Caló de s’Oli, Sant Jordi and Sant Josep. Finally, the great Three Kings Parade will take place on January 5, touring Cala de Bou, Sant Agustí, Sant Josep and Sant Jordi, with worship in churches and delivery of gifts in each envelat. On January 6, the Three Kings will arrive in Es Cubells, putting the finishing touch to a holiday designed to enjoy with family and friends.
