Storytelling in Santa Eulària: magic returns with free sessions for the whole family

For a month and a half, children can let themselves be carried away by fantasy in a new season of free storytelling organized by the City Council of Santa Eulària, with performances in different libraries and cultural centers of the municipality.

The City Council of Santa Eulària des Riu recovers one of its most endearing initiatives: the season of children’s storytelling. For six consecutive weeks, the little ones will have the opportunity to enjoy stories full of humor, emotion and imagination. All sessions will be free and open to the public.

The performances will be held every week, from November 7 to December 11, in different cultural spaces and libraries of the municipality. In this way, the City Council seeks to bring culture and reading to all corners of the municipality. Each event will offer a different story, designed for children from four years old, and all will start at 5 pm.

A varied program for all tastes and tastes

The tour will begin this Friday, November 7, at the Cultural Center of Puig d’en Valls with the funny play El Pirata Pedorreta, by the company Hotoquentot.

Then, on Thursday, November 13, the Municipal Library of Santa Eulària will host Sa rateta 2.0, a modern version of the classic folk tale, by Myotragus Teatre, winner of the Bòtil 2025 Children’s Award.

On November 21, the CEIP Santa Gertrudis Public Library will host Sonrisas Mágicas, which will present Celeste, a story that invites us to reflect on gender violence from a perspective of sensitivity and hope.

Inclusion and values on stage

At the end of the month, on Wednesday, November 26, the Municipal Library of Santa Eulària will become the stage for De cabras y algún que otro lobo, a story interpreted in sign language by Maritza Teje Cuentos, in collaboration with the Federation of Deaf People of the Balearic Islands. With this proposal, the council promotes inclusion and accessibility to culture for all audiences.
