Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera is preparing to live its big event of the year, a patron saint festival that will fill the streets of the village with joy from the end of October until December 6, 2025. The program includes 36 activities that mix the best of Ibizan tradition, live music, local gastronomy and the participatory spirit of its neighbors. This year the organization wanted to maintain the balance between traditional events and the most current proposals, to attract both residents and visitors.
The kick-off will be on Saturday, November 8, with the XIII Tennis Tournament, the inaugural parade and the expected wine fair EiViFest, which will offer food trucks and live music by the group Vermut a 45 RPM. During the afternoon, the charanga La Xanga Marching Band will liven up the streets before a night of concerts with Los del Varadero and DJ Bang Bang. In this way, the first weekend will set the festive tone that will be maintained for a whole month.

A week later, on Saturday, November 15, the program will revolve around the rural world with the “Day at the Farm”, an event that will offer workshops, tastings, educational activities and a walk around the village. The first phase of the Equestrian Trophy and the “tir amb bassetja” championship will also be held at Junts Farm, two events that stand out for their local roots. The day will conclude with live music by La Verbenita, which will put the festive finishing touch to the day.
Sunday, November 16 will be the big day of the festivities, with a program that will bring together tradition and emotion in equal parts. The day will include the second phase of the Equestrian Trophy, the Solemn Mass, the procession and the traditional ball pagès, in charge of the Grup de Balls Tradicionals Santa Gertrudis. The finishing touch will be the performance of Los Canallas del Guateke, who will make locals and visitors dance from 8:00 pm in the main tent.
Gastronomy and sports until December
The festive atmosphere will continue in the following weeks, with activities that combine flavor, tradition and coexistence. Among the most outstanding are the VI edition of the Concurs Mundial d’Arròs amb Pebrassos i Trossos and the XV Cursa de sa Sobrassada, scheduled for the last weekend of November. Both events, which have already become classics in the local calendar, reinforce the union between popular culture, sport and gastronomy, consolidating Santa Gertrudis as a reference of the Ibizan autumn.
With such a full and diverse agenda, the festivities of Santa Gertrudis 2025 promise to be one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year, where music, tradition and joy once again unite neighbors and visitors around the spirit of the town.
