The City Council of Sant Josep has launched its Christmas ice skating rink, included in the Christmas program of the municipality.
The facility opened on Saturday, December 13, 2025 and offers a free activity aimed at all audiences, designed to enjoy outdoor leisure during these dates.
According to the calendar established by the Consistory, the track has a schedule adapted to the festive period, with morning and afternoon sessions on the busiest days. The City Council reminds that the use of gloves is mandatory to access the rink.
Schedules before and during Christmas
During the week before Christmas, from December 16 to 20, the rink is open in the afternoon, from 4:00 to 7:30 pm. Between December 22 and 24, the opening hours are extended, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
On December 25, Christmas Day, the facility remains closed.
Schedules after Christmas and in early January
After Christmas, from December 26 to 30, the rink will operate again in double shift, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. On December 31 it will be open only in the morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while on January 1 it will be closed.
In 2026, from January 2 to 4, the opening hours will be from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. On January 5, the rink will be open only in the morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on January 6, Epiphany, it will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., bringing the Christmas program to an end.
The initiative seeks to promote family leisure and the use of public space during the holidays, offering the possibility of enjoying ice skating without leaving the island.
