The &#8216;no&#8217; of the PP, added to that of PSIB, M\u00c9S per Mallorca, M\u00e9s per Menorca, Unidas Podemos and the deputy of the mixed group Lloren\u00e7 C\u00f3rdoba, has left Santiago Abascal&#8217;s party isolated and visibly upset with their partners in the Government. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"778\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/el-pp-planta-cara-a-vox-y-lanza-su-propia-ley-para-regular-la-vehicularidad-del-castellano\/\">The PP faces Vox and launches its own law to regulate the vehicularity of the Spanish language<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"1080\">Vox&#8217;s deputy spokesman, <strong data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"828\">Sergio Rodriguez<\/strong>, called the day a &#8220;sad day&#8221; and accused the PP of &#8220;disloyalty&#8221; and &#8220;playing dirty&#8221;. &#8220;The House votes against freedom. The left carries it in its DNA, but that a conservative and liberal party does it we can not explain,&#8221; he lamented. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1318\">Rodriguez branded the PP&#8217;s alternative proposal as a &#8220;swindle&#8221; and a &#8220;gesture for the gallery&#8221;, reproaching the &#8216;popular&#8217; that Vox has backed its budgets and spending ceilings &#8220;time and time again&#8221; without receiving the same loyalty in return.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1320\" data-end=\"1750\">On the part of the PP, <strong data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1353\">Marga Duran<\/strong> defended that her proposal -registered a day earlier- complies &#8220;point by point&#8221; with the agreement reached with Vox on the vehicularity of Castilian and the promotion of the insular modalities of Catalan. &#8220;The text of Vox goes much further and aims to limit the autonomy of center. We cannot endorse a wording that clashes with the Statute, the law of normalization and the decree of minimums,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1931\">From the Vox seat, <strong data-start=\"1776\" data-end=\"1795\">Manuela Ca\u00f1adas<\/strong> muttered a resounding &#8220;what a shame&#8221;, while Rodr\u00edguez replied: &#8220;They have seen us looking like fools and they think they are going to convince us&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"1982\">Criticism from the left and nationalism<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1984\" data-end=\"2331\">PSIB deputy <strong data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2025\">Amanda Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> considered that Vox&#8217;s initiative was &#8220;riddled with barbarities&#8221; and accused the PP of &#8220;facilitating these absurdities to become a reality&#8221;. &#8220;They hold their hands over their heads before Vox, but they push measures against their own language,&#8221; she said, alluding to the flexibilization of Catalan in public processes. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2333\" data-end=\"2507\">From <strong data-start=\"2339\" data-end=\"2359\">M\u00c9S per Mallorca<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2361\" data-end=\"2376\">Maria Ramon<\/strong> accused the ultra-right of &#8220;hijacking the debate&#8221; and warned the PP: &#8220;Today&#8217;s vote is useless if tomorrow you go back to your knees&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2509\" data-end=\"2772\">In the same vein, <strong data-start=\"2528\" data-end=\"2544\">Joana Gomila<\/strong>, of <strong data-start=\"2549\" data-end=\"2568\">M\u00e9s per Menorca<\/strong>, defended that &#8220;the language that deserves protection is Catalan&#8221; and accused the PP of incoherence: &#8220;They say one thing and do the opposite with measures such as the language choice plan, which is segregation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2774\" data-end=\"3028\">For his part, the deputy of <strong data-start=\"2803\" data-end=\"2821\">Unidas Podemos<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2823\" data-end=\"2844\">Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, insisted that &#8220;the process of linguistic normalization has not yet finished&#8221; and warned that eliminating the preponderance of Catalan would &#8220;liquidate&#8221; the progress achieved in the classrooms.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"2774\"
