Only after guaranteeing these two pillars -users and staff-, UGT argues, should the rest of the administrative and organizational issues be addressed. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1857\" data-end=\"2348\">&#8220;UGT wants to make it clear that <strong>our priority is the users of the residence,<\/strong> elderly people who deserve dignified care focused on their needs. Secondly, <strong>we defend the rights and working conditions of the staff,<\/strong> who are the ones who sustain the service on a daily basis. Only after guaranteeing these two pillars should the rest of the administrative and organizational issues be addressed,&#8221; they explained.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1857\" data-end=\"2348\">\n<h5><a Insular de Formentera<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2676\" data-end=\"2693\">Govern Balear<\/strong> to implement measures to reverse the situation in Es Brolls.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2584\" data-end=\"2847\">The union puts on the table a series of <strong data-start=\"2809\" data-end=\"2846\">specific and urgent proposals<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2849\" data-end=\"3381\">\n<li data-start=\"2849\" data-end=\"2942\">\n<p data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2942\">Strengthen the workforce and fill vacancies with suitable professional profiles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"3074\">\n<p data-start=\"2945\" data-end=\"3074\">Review care schedules and routines so that they are truly adapted to the rhythms and needs of the elderly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3075\" data-end=\"3237\">\n<p data-start=\"3077\" data-end=\"3237\">Improving the working conditions of the staff, a key issue to reduce the overload that is currently causing numerous medical leaves.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3238\" data-end=\"3381\">\n<p data-start=\"3240\" data-end=\"3381\">Establish a transparent and participatory management model, with the involvement of families, staff and management team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"3388\" data-end=\"3434\">&#8220;Hand outstretched for dialogue&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3436\" data-end=\"3710\">UGT has reiterated that it <strong data-start=\"3457\" data-end=\"3497\">has always been open to dialogue<\/strong> and has shown its willingness to participate in the <strong data-start=\"3546\" data-end=\"3590\">Consell de Participaci\u00f3 de la Resid\u00e8ncia<\/strong>, a body announced by the councilor herself, and which they consider a useful space to move forward in improving the
