The municipality of <strong data-start=\"372\" data-end=\"399\">Sant Antoni de Portmany<\/strong> will host the <strong data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"449\">first Popular Aioli Contest<\/strong>, one of the great novelties of the <strong data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"556\">XVI edition of the gastronomic contest <em data-start=\"526\" data-end=\"554\">Restaurat Sant Antoni 2025<\/em><\/strong>, which will be held from <strong data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"613\">November 3 to December 8.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"1039\">The event promises to bring together <strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"680\">chefs, locals and visitors<\/strong> in a day that will combine <strong data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"744\">flavor, tradition and creativity<\/strong>, consolidating Sant Antoni as a benchmark in the promotion of <strong data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"837\">Ibizan gastronomy<\/strong>. This new contest is born with the purpose of <strong data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"915\">vindicating the local cuisine<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"988\">highlighting one of the most emblematic sauces of the Mediterranean<\/strong>, a symbol of identity and meeting point on the island. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1316\">Beyond the competition, <em data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1092\">Restaurat Sant Antoni<\/em> seeks to promote <strong data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1172\">coexistence and enjoyment around the flavors of Ibiza<\/strong>, inviting both residents and tourists to discover the culinary essence of Ibiza through a dish as simple as it is representative.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1491\">\n<h5><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/event\/restaurat-sant-antoni-2025\/2025-11-03\/\">Restaurat Sant Antoni 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1561\">Two categories to taste tradition and innovation<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1867\">The contest will have <strong data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1606\">two modalities<\/strong>: the <strong data-start=\"1611\" data-end=\"1633\">Traditional Alioli<\/strong>, made only by hand with a mortar and pestle and without the aid of electric utensils, and the <strong data-start=\"1718\" data-end=\"1737\">Creative Alioli<\/strong>, which will allow the incorporation of modern techniques or additional ingredients, as long as the essence of garlic and oil is maintained.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1869\" data-end=\"2260\">In both cases, participants must prepare their aioli <strong data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1944\">from scratch<\/strong>, using only garlic and olive or vegetable oil. No industrial bases or commercial mayonnaise will be allowed, in order to guarantee that each preparation is authentic and handmade.
