We have been waiting a long time for this vaccine to be available because, I insist, I believe it is a source of pride for Spain, for our country, for innovation, for our own production,&#8221; the minister said.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1322\">Hipra: scientific innovation with a Spanish seal<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1712\">The <strong data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1346\">Hipra<\/strong> vaccine, developed by the Catalan biotechnology company of the same name, represents <strong data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1498\">one of the most important bets of the national health sector<\/strong>. Manufactured in Spain, it has been <strong data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1626\">specifically designed to deal with the new variants of the coronavirus<\/strong>, in this case LP.8.1, one of the most recent and most widespread in Europe. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/ibiza-on-alert-for-avian-flu-between-prevention-measures-and-price-concerns\/?swcfpc=1\">Ibiza on alert for avian flu: between prevention measures and price concerns<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1714\" data-end=\"2065\">The project is part of the strategy to <strong data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1808\">strengthen national pharmaceutical production<\/strong>, promoted by the Ministry of Health. sectors. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3937\" data-end=\"4124\">The complex represents an <strong data-start=\"3964\" data-end=\"4009\">investment of more than 500 million euros<\/strong> and is destined to become <strong data-start=\"4044\" data-end=\"4121\">one of the most important engines of scientific innovation on the continent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4126\" data-end=\"4335\">According to the company, the campus will generate <strong data-start=\"4173\" data-end=\"4225\">more than 1,000 direct jobs and 2,000 indirect jobs<\/strong>, boosting the economic development of the region and strengthening the industrial fabric linked to healthcare. <span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The vice-president of Hipra, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\" data-start=\"4367\" data-end=\"4383\">Mar Nogareda<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, emphasized that the Minister&#8217;s visit &#8220;highlights the efforts made in Spain to guarantee the capacity to respond to global health challenges&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4557\" data-end=\"4607\">A boost to Spanish health sovereignty<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4609\" data-end=\"4790\">With the incorporation of Hipra&#8217;s vaccine into the 2025-26 vaccination plan, <strong data-start=\"4683\" data-end=\"4787\">Spain takes an important step towards pharmaceutical independence and national scientific
