Cordoba stressed that this exclusion violates the principle of insular equity, given that air connectivity in the Balearic Islands is linked to inter-island mobility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1379\"><strong data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1271\">&#8220;Formentera is the only island without an airport and, even so, it does not appear in the law,&#8221;<\/strong> the deputy recalled, stressing that the island <strong data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1378\">depends exclusively on the maritime link with Ibiza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1440\"><strong data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1440\">Technical allegations from the Consell de Formentera<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1750\">Cordoba reported that the <strong data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1506\">Consell Insular de Formentera<\/strong> presented <strong data-start=\"1516\" data-end=\"1540\">technical allegations<\/strong> prepared by its legal services based on a request from the deputy himself. He thanked the work carried out by the Consell&#8217;s teams, highlighting their <strong data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1749\">thoroughness and institutional sensitivity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"2061\"><strong data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1836\">&#8220;We want to move forward together, but from the recognition of our uniqueness,&#8221;<\/strong> said Cordoba before the Parliament, insisting that <strong data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"1996\">the representation of Formentera with voice and vote in the bodies of the new Airport Authority<\/strong> is essential to ensure equality between territories.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2063\" data-end=\"2092\"><strong data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2092\">Commitment of the Govern<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2094\" data-end=\"2390\">Minister Mateo acknowledged the demands made by Formentera and announced that the <strong data-start=\"2190\" data-end=\"2252\">Government will include a specific representation for the island<\/strong> in the institutional design of the new airport authority.
