With this, the system currently supplies the <strong>88 hectares of social irrigation planned<\/strong>, consolidating itself as a key infrastructure for the agricultural use of reclaimed water in the municipality. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1296\">The <strong>Conselleria de Agricultura, Pesca y Medio Natural,<\/strong> together with the Comunidad de Regantes de Santa Eul\u00e0ria, organized an open day to explain the operation of the pond and the irrigation system to the members. During the visit, attendees were able to check the current state of the facilities, resolve technical questions about water quality and nutrient management, and learn about the performance of the system. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1663\">The general director of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, <strong data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1386\">Fernando Fernandez<\/strong>, stressed that &#8220;irrigation communities are the holders of the water right and must know the system to value it and ensure its optimal use&#8221;. He stressed that generating confidence and encouraging the involvement of the sector is &#8220;key to revitalizing agriculture in the municipality&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1969\">For his part, the president of the Irrigation Community, <strong data-start=\"1722\" data-end=\"1740\">Miquel Colomar<\/strong>, pointed out that the objective is to &#8220;give security to professional farmers&#8221;, in a context of increasingly frequent droughts. &#8220;We want to offer guarantees for the future, although we are still in a learning period,&#8221; he added. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2488\">The reservoir was filled at the end of April with more than <strong data-start=\"2030\" data-end=\"2075\">200,000 cubic meters of reclaimed water<\/strong>, and in May the test phase began in sector A, which is supplied by gravity. With the arrival of a stable electricity supply a month ago, water is also being pumped to sector B, allowing the entire system to operate continuously. The infrastructure has <strong data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2453\">a regulation capacity of 208,000 cubic meters and a 12.6-kilometer irrigation network<\/strong> that supplies 34 active hydrants.  <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2490\" data-end=\"2510\">Future plans<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2511\" data-end=\"2766\">With a view to the March 2026 irrigation campaign, the Government expects all hydrants to be fully operational.
