The activity is part of the program &#8220;<strong data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"761\">Humanizaci\u00f3n por los pelos<\/strong>&#8220;, an initiative of the association <strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"811\">Nunca Solos<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"874\">Health Area of Ibiza and Formentera<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/event\/gran-fiesta-solidaria-de-pacha-tickets-disponibles\/2025-11-12\/?swcfpc=1\">Pacha&#8217;s Great Solidarity Party &#8211; tickets available<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1137\">&#8220;<strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"1076\">The joy, laughter and the boost it brings to the patients and their families is the perfect ending to an afternoon where the students practice and the patients look beautiful,&#8221;<\/strong> says M\u00aa del Carmen Garc\u00eda, vice-president of Nunca Solos.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1209\">Fourth edition of a hospital humanization initiative<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1627\">This day marks the fourth edition of the program that seeks to <strong data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1326\">break the routine of hospital admission<\/strong> and strengthen the emotional well-being of patients. The session took place at <strong data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1419\">Ca na Majora<\/strong>, the new Intermediate Care Center of Ibiza, where students from IES Algarb combed and cut the hair of six patients, including <strong data-start=\"1561\" data-end=\"1582\">Mariano Tur Boned<\/strong>, 95, and <strong data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1619\">Prudencia Hormigo<\/strong>, 67. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1798\"><strong data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1742\">The activity combines practical training for the students with a clear emotional benefit for the patients<\/strong>, many of whom have been hospitalized for more than 20 days.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1805\" data-end=\"1853\">Personalized attention in a pioneering environment<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"2268\">Since its full opening last October 15, <strong data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"1963\">Ca na Majora has 29 single rooms<\/strong> for chronically ill patients. Currently, its occupancy rate reaches 72.4%. The center&#8217;s interdisciplinary team has grown to 56 professionals, including nurses, orderlies, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and geriatricians, among others.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2270\" data-end=\"2402\">The objective of the center is to <strong data-start=\"2296\" data-end=\"2352\">promote autonomy and community integration<\/strong> by providing specific and personalized care.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2409\" data-end=\"2466\">Never Alone: four years accompanying from the heart<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2468\" data-end=\"2771\">The <strong data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2497\">Nunca Solos<\/strong> association emerged in 2018, when staff at Can Misses Hospital detected the <strong data-start=\"2565\" data-end=\"2614\">loneliness suffered by many elderly patients<\/strong>.
