This initiative is part of the work to develop a <strong data-start=\"583\" data-end=\"663\">comprehensive and sustainable strategy for the development and repositioning of tourism<\/strong>, which will set the course for the island&#8217;s main economic engine in the coming years.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/fewer-people-full-hotels-ibiza-defends-with-data-that-its-strategy-against-intrusiveness-is-already-showing-results\/?swcfpc=1\">Fewer people, full hotels: Ibiza defends with data that its strategy against intrusiveness is already showing results<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"1111\">The process, coordinated by the <strong data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"820\">Tourism Promotion Department<\/strong> with the technical support of <strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"870\">THR, Eurecat and Ogilvy<\/strong>, included a phase open to both the public and the tourism sector. Through surveys, workshops and work sessions &#8211; both in person and online &#8211; we have gathered input from companies, workers, associations and visitors.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/solo-tourism-in-spain-what-are-the-most-chosen-destinations-and-why-is-it-growing\/?swcfpc=1\">Solo tourism in Spain: what are the most chosen destinations and why is it growing?<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1333\">According to the Consell, the massive response demonstrates the <strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1231\">collective will to build a balanced tourism model<\/strong> that reflects the diversity of perspectives of the territory and the aspirations of Ibizan society.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1392\">A model based on balance and sustainability<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1798\">The objective of this initiative is to <strong data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1460\">define a shared model<\/strong> that combines economic prosperity with <strong data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1545\">environmental and heritage preservation<\/strong>, as well as the <strong data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1601\">social well-being of residents<\/strong>. In addition, the aim is to maintain <strong data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1714\">Eivissa&#8217;<\/strong>s <strong data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1714\">competitiveness as a first class international tourist destination<\/strong>, in a global context that is increasingly oriented towards sustainability and quality.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/mondrian-and-hyde-ibiza-achieve-green-key-certification-reaffirming-their-commitment-to-sustainable-tourism\/?swcfpc=1\">Mondrian and Hyde Ibiza achieve Green Key certification reaffirming their commitment to sustainable tourism<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1800\" data-end=\"2241\">The results of this participatory process will now be integrated into the <strong data-start=\"1871\" data-end=\"1919\">technical analysis and synthesis of results<\/strong> that will make it possible to establish the strategic lines of the island&#8217;s future tourism policy. This work will be key to the <strong data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2084\">repositioning of the Ibiza brand <\/strong>and to the creation of a <strong data-start=\"2110\" data-end=\"2163\">more advanced and participatory governance model<\/strong>, aligned with the sustainability objectives set by the <strong data-start=\"2223\" data-end=\"2240\">European Union<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/with-ibiza-at-the-forefront-the-balearic-islands-experience-their-biggest-tourist-respite-since-the-pandemic\/?swcfpc=1\">With Ibiza at the forefront, the Balearic Islands experience their biggest tourist respite since the pandemic<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2243\" data-end=\"2287\">A planning horizon to 2027<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2685\">The project will run until <strong data-start=\"2320\" data-end=\"2328\">2027<\/strong> and represents a <strong data-start=\"2345\" data-end=\"2414\">decisive step in the planning of the island&#8217;s tourism future<\/strong>.
