In the audio, to which <em data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"574\">El Pa\u00eds<\/em> has had access, <strong data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"616\">former Socialist militant Leire D\u00edez<\/strong> presents herself to Stampa as a direct envoy of the PSOE, stating that she was appointed by the party to investigate alleged irregularities in police reports and those of the Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"1118\">&#8220;<strong data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"968\">This is strictly confidential and is something that stays here, but let&#8217;s say that I am the person who has put the PSOE to see what is behind all this<\/strong>,&#8221; said D\u00edez at the beginning of the meeting, held on May 7 in the office of businessman <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1088\">Luis del Rivero<\/strong>, who acted as mediator.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/ibiza-on-edge-due-to-a-wave-of-robberies-the-spectacular-unsolved-heists\/?swcfpc=1\">Ibiza on edge due to a wave of robberies: the spectacular unsolved heists<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1534\">The meeting was also attended by <strong data-start=\"1149\" data-end=\"1172\">Javier P\u00e9rez-Dolset<\/strong>, a businessman involved in several legal cases, and Stampa himself, who recorded the entire conversation. Both D\u00edez and P\u00e9rez-Dolset are today <strong data-start=\"1323\" data-end=\"1382\">charged for alleged bribery and influence peddling<\/strong>, as they are accused of organizing a &#8220;criminal plan&#8221; in order to <strong data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1531\">&#8220;discredit&#8221; the leadership of the Civil Guard and the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1593\"><strong data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1593\">&#8220;You are Santos Cerd\u00e1n&#8217;s right-hand man?&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1808\">During the meeting, Stampa tries to clarify who is behind D\u00edez&#8217;s presence and whether his interlocutor has political backing. &#8220;<strong data-start=\"1733\" data-end=\"1781\">Are you Santos Cerd\u00e1n&#8217;s &#8216;right-hand man&#8217;?<\/strong>&#8221; the prosecutor asks him.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1810\" data-end=\"1836\">&#8220;<strong data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1817\">Yes<\/strong>,&#8221; she replies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1919\">&#8220;<strong data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"1903\">And Santos Cerd\u00e1n is the party&#8217;s Secretary of Organization<\/strong>,&#8221; he insists.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2012\">&#8220;<strong data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"1995\">Yes, but I&#8217;m a &#8216;right-hand man&#8217; who is never going to appear anywhere<\/strong>,&#8221; D\u00edez qualifies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2334\">At that time, Cerd\u00e1n -then number three of the PSOE- was already being <strong data-start=\"2086\" data-end=\"2139\">investigated by the Central Operative Unit (UCO)<\/strong> of the Civil Guard in a corruption scheme that would later end with his imprisonment. D\u00edez assures during the meeting that &#8220;<strong data-start=\"2295\" data-end=\"2330\">everyone is very uneasy<\/strong>&#8220;. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2341\" data-end=\"2374\"><strong data-start=\"2345\" data-end=\"2374\">A meeting under suspicion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2376\" data-end=\"2713\">Prosecutor <strong data-start=\"2386\" data-end=\"2404\">Ignacio Stampa<\/strong> later declared before Judge <strong data-start=\"2441\" data-end=\"2462\">Arturo Zamarriego<\/strong>, the investigator of the case, that he had gone to the meeting thinking that Santos Cerd\u00e1n himself would be present, under the alleged intention of the Government to <strong data-start=\"2611\" data-end=\"2677\">apologize to him for his departure from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/strong> when he was in charge of the Villarejo case.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2715\" data-end=\"2928\">However, who appeared was <strong data-start=\"2747\" data-end=\"2761\">Leire D\u00edez<\/strong>, accompanied by the businessman P\u00e9rez-Dolset, who, during the conversation, assured that <strong data-start=\"2846\" data-end=\"2925\">the President of the Government, Pedro S\u00e1nchez, was aware of her efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/formentera-en\/the-historic-claim-of-formentera-takes-a-new-step-in-the-parliament\/?swcfpc=1\">The historic claim of Formentera takes a new step in the Parliament<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2930\" data-end=\"3187\">&#8220;<strong data-start=\"2931\" data-end=\"3158\">Leire, this situation has to be reversed with all the victims. This has to be turned around no matter who falls and, fortunately, what the president [of the Government] has said is: &#8216;Listen, this will be cleaned up no matter who falls&#8217;. <\/strong>&#8220;, says Dolset in the audio.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3189\" data-end=\"3221\">Diez responds, &#8220;<strong data-start=\"3205\" data-end=\"3217\">Clean yourself<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3223\" data-end=\"3442\">And the entrepreneur adds: &#8220;<strong data-start=\"3249\" data-end=\"3438\">Clean yourself without limit. Police officers who falsify reports, out. Prosecutors who hide evidence, out. Guys who fabricate cases, out. And the politicization of the judicial system&#8230;.    <\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3449\" data-end=\"3498\"><strong data-start=\"3453\" data-end=\"3498\">&#8220;I am the person the PSOE has put in place.&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3500\" data-end=\"3833\">The conversation progresses between insinuations, confidences and theories about judicial irregularities. D\u00edez insists that he has been <strong data-start=\"3627\" data-end=\"3749\">investigating &#8220;irregularities in police reports&#8221; and &#8220;some members of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor&#8217;s Office&#8221; for almost a year, as<\/strong> well as other issues that &#8220;did not fit&#8221; in different court cases. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3835\" data-end=\"4240\">In his testimony, <strong data-start=\"3853\" data-end=\"3869\">P\u00e9rez-Dolset<\/strong> assures that he <strong data-start=\"3882\" data-end=\"3948\">gave D\u00edez recordings of commissioner Jos\u00e9 Manuel Villarejo<\/strong>, allegedly linked to the espionage of figures in the government environment. &#8220;<strong data-start=\"4030\" data-end=\"4214\">Leire calls me and &#8216;hey Javier&#8230;&#8217; (sic), of course there is such a big commotion&#8230;. Aren&#8217;t all the audios of the spying on the president [of the Government] there? And I told her yes, and I gave them to her <\/strong>&#8220;, says the businessman.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4242\" data-end=\"4319\">To which he adds, &#8220;<strong data-start=\"4259\" data-end=\"4315\">Then the president already said: &#8216;let everything be cleaned up'&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4326\" data-end=\"4419\"><strong data-start=\"4330\" data-end=\"4419\">&#8220;I have nothing against him, I would like to know what they had against me.&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4421\" data-end=\"4770\">Stampa, who was removed from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor&#8217;s Office in 2021, also speaks out during the meeting about his dismissal. &#8220;<strong data-start=\"4550\" data-end=\"4750\">I have nothing against him [Garc\u00eda Ortiz], I would like to know what they had against me. And now you come to tell me what they did wrong in taking me away? As you can understand, I am amazed!  <\/strong>&#8220;, says the prosecutor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/the-reconversion-of-ses-figueretes-and-es-viver-will-allow-the-expansion-and-renovation-of-hotels-outside-the-urban-planning-process\/?swcfpc=1\">Ibiza gives a free hand to hotels: they can expand and reform without complying with urban planning<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4772\" data-end=\"4918\">D\u00edez promises to pass on his version of the facts: &#8220;<strong data-start=\"4825\" data-end=\"4902\">I will raise my opinion of what you are telling me where it needs to be raised<\/strong>,&#8221; he assures her.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4925\" data-end=\"4995\"><strong data-start=\"4929\" data-end=\"4995\">&#8220;\u00c1lvaro has Stockholm syndrome with Lola&#8221;.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4997\" data-end=\"5225\">At another point in the conversation, the interlocutors discuss the figure of the Attorney General of the State, <strong data-start=\"5101\" data-end=\"5124\">Alvaro Garcia Ortiz<\/strong>, and his predecessor, <strong data-start=\"5147\" data-end=\"5166\">Dolores Delgado<\/strong>, who did not renew Stampa in his position of Anti-Corruption.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5227\" data-end=\"5436\">When Stampa asks if there is any explanation for this decision, D\u00edez answers: &#8220;<strong data-start=\"5308\" data-end=\"5337\">No, he hasn&#8217;t given it to me<\/strong>&#8220;. Look what a problem&#8221;.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5935\" data-end=\"6120\">In the final section of the audio, prosecutor Stampa asks if Garcia Ortiz himself was aware of the meeting. &#8220;<strong data-start=\"6051\" data-end=\"6101\">He&#8217;s going to know. I measure times too, eh <\/strong>&#8220;D\u00edez responds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6122\" data-end=\"6381\">The surprised prosecutor replies that if the attorney general finds out, &#8220;more people may know about it&#8221;. To which she replies with forcefulness: &#8220;I&#8217;ll tell you what I know. <strong data-start=\"6265\" data-end=\"6377\">Yes, it doesn&#8217;t matter. If I don&#8217;t have any problem, what&#8217;s more, \u00c1lvaro&#8217;s boss is going to know about it. What a problem  <\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6383\" data-end=\"6528\">When Stampa asks to whom she is referring, she does not hesitate: &#8220;<strong data-start=\"6441\" data-end=\"6514\">Alvaro&#8217;s boss, do you mean the minister or the president? -All of them <\/strong>&#8220;, he concludes.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"6535\" data-end=\"6577\"><strong data-start=\"6539\" data-end=\"6577\">A meeting under judicial scrutiny<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"6579\" data-end=\"7012\">The recording, which is already part of the judicial summary, is a key piece in the investigation opened by the <strong data-start=\"6696\" data-end=\"6741\">Court of Instruction number 9 of Madrid<\/strong>, where both <strong data-start=\"6755\" data-end=\"6769\">Leire D\u00edez<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"6775\" data-end=\"6798\">Javier P\u00e9rez-Dolset<\/strong> appear as defendants.
