In turn, Nadal Ballesteros recalled that wheelchair services must be guaranteed 24 hours a day.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ambulances for Ibiza and Formentera<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>According to the <g id=\"gid_0\">breakdown handled by UGT<\/g>, <strong data-start=\"1647\" data-end=\"1656\">Ibiza<\/strong> would be left with <strong data-start=\"1670\" data-end=\"1699\">eight vans without ramp<\/strong> (only ambulatory), <g id=\"gid_3\">two A2 with stretcher<\/g> and <g id=\"gid_4\">three A2 with hydraulic ramp<\/g> that <g id=\"gid_5\">will make all the chairs<\/g>; <g id=\"gid_6\">Formentera<\/g> would have <g id=\"gid_7\">an A2 with stretcher<\/g>. <strong data-start=\"1864\" data-end=\"1903\">The tender foresees 17 A2 for Pitiusas<\/strong>, with <strong data-start=\"1909\" data-end=\"1932\">reserve units<\/strong><strong> (a distinction that the Ministry of<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"1939\" data-end=\"1964\">Health has not <\/strong><strong>yet confirmed).<\/strong>     <\/p>\n<p>Of the total of 130 scheduled ambulances, the Conseller\u00eda has clarified that it would modify 55 so that they do not exceed 3,500 kilos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2581\"><strong data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2116\">If<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2198\">all the demand for rehabilitation, discharges, tests and radiotherapy chair<\/strong> falls on <strong data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2233\">only three ambulances<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2235\" data-end=\"2262\">each technical incident<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"2265\" data-end=\"2286\">low driver<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2310\">leaves the island lame<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"2312\" data-end=\"2319\">UGT<\/strong> warns of <strong data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2352\">reprogramming<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2354\" data-end=\"2376\">longer waits<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2414\">loss of clinical versatility<\/strong> to <strong data-start=\"2418\" data-end=\"2448\">remove ramps and seats<\/strong> to reduce weight and reach the 3,500 kilos, which would allow the rest of the staff to drive them.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Health has informed that it will pay for training so that more drivers have a C license, according to the UGT delegate,  <strong>there should also be compensation for those who already have such a permit.<\/strong>  and paid for it out of pocket: otherwise, he says, it would be &#8220;discrimination&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>Formentera, minimum coverage<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3091\" data-end=\"3508\">In <strong data-start=\"3094\" data-end=\"3108\">Formentera<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"3135\" data-end=\"3168\">there will be only one A2 with stretcher<\/strong> in the <strong data-start=\"3175\" data-end=\"3189\">scheduled<\/strong>. &#8220;There is only one driver for an ambulance that is operational from 7 to 19 Monday through Friday.
