What SELAE says <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1577\">According to <strong data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1438\">SELAE (Loter\u00edas y Apuestas del Estado)<\/strong> confirmed to the newspaper <em data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1460\">20minutos<\/em>, <strong data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1532\">there is no rule that prohibits writing or painting on a ticket<\/strong>, nor does it automatically invalidate it. That is to say, it <strong data-start=\"1589\" data-end=\"1620\">is valid to write on it<\/strong>, whether it is a signature or a note to record that the ticket is shared. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1749\">However, there are important nuances:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1750\" data-end=\"1984\">\n<li data-start=\"1750\" data-end=\"1852\">\n<p data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1852\">The writing <strong data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"1801\">must not damage, obscure or compromise<\/strong> the information necessary to validate the tenth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"1984\">\n<p data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"1984\">For this reason, it is recommended to do it <strong data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1914\">only on the back<\/strong>, as the administrations themselves do when stamping tickets.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2124\">The key to collecting a prize is that <strong data-start=\"2030\" data-end=\"2123\">the number, the series, the fraction and the validation codes are still perfectly visible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2131\" data-end=\"2183\"><strong data-start=\"2134\" data-end=\"2183\">What happens if an administration does not accept it?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2185\" data-end=\"2392\">SELAE also points out that, should an administration consider that the tenth is <strong data-start=\"2276\" data-end=\"2316\">too deteriorated or compromised<\/strong>, there is a <strong data-start=\"2328\" data-end=\"2360\">verification department<\/strong> in charge of checking its condition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2394\" data-end=\"2422\">This department analyzes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2527\">\n<li data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2454\">\n<p data-start=\"2425\" data-end=\"2454\">the authenticity of the tenth,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2455\" data-end=\"2488\">\n<p data-start=\"2457\" data-end=\"2488\">if the codes can be read,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2489\" data-end=\"2527\">\n<p data-start=\"2491\" data-end=\"2527\">and if the possible damage prevents payment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2529\" data-end=\"2677\">That is to say, even if a window rejects a lottery ticket, it <strong data-start=\"2584\" data-end=\"2617\">does not mean that it is lost<\/strong>: the specialized department can determine its validity.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2684\" data-end=\"2737\"><strong data-start=\"2687\" data-end=\"2737\">Signing a shared tenth: is it advisable?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2739\" data-end=\"2996\">The practice of <strong data-start=\"2754\" data-end=\"2785\">signing a shared tenth<\/strong> has become widespread in recent years as a way to prevent disputes. It is still equally valid, and will avoid problems if the prize is high.  <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2739\" data-end=\"2996\">What are the big changes in the Christmas Lottery 2025?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"746\">The traditional <strong data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"431\">Christmas Lottery<\/strong> draw arrives this year with important adjustments that will mark a before and after in one of the most awaited events of the holidays. The 2025 edition will include <strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"666\">more series in play and an increase in the total amount of money distributed<\/strong>, making this year&#8217;s draw the most generous since its creation. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1250\">The first significant change directly affects the number of <strong data-start=\"862\" data-end=\"872\">series<\/strong> to be put into circulation.
