The company obtained the <strong data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1454\">best score -97.29 points-<\/strong> among the four bids submitted to the tender, which contemplates a <strong data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1547\">20-year<\/strong> concession and a global budget close to <strong data-start=\"1586\" data-end=\"1611\">200 million euros<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1612\">\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/ibiza-earmarks-more-than-one-million-euros-for-housing-and-approves-500000-to-repair-storm-damage\/?swcfpc=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ibiza earmarks more than one million euros for housing and approves 500,000 to repair storm damage<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1614\" data-end=\"2073\">The approval is the <strong data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1653\">first step<\/strong> towards the final award. The UTE now has <g id=\"gid_1\">ten working days<\/g> to submit the required documentation, before formalizing the contract and always at the expense of possible administrative appeals. Once the process is completed, the agreement will be published in the municipal <strong data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1956\">Contracting Profile<\/strong> and in the <strong data-start=\"1975\" data-end=\"2024\">Public Sector Contracting Platform<\/strong>, complying with transparency requirements.  <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2075\" data-end=\"2149\"><strong data-start=\"2079\" data-end=\"2149\">17 million in investments and 49 actions to modernize the network<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2151\" data-end=\"2542\">During the session, the accidental councilman of the Environment, <strong data-start=\"2212\" data-end=\"2227\">Rub\u00e9n Sousa<\/strong>, emphasized that the new contract will allow &#8220;<strong data-start=\"2270\" data-end=\"2294\">a qualitative leap<\/strong>&#8221; in the management of the service. The contract foresees an investment of <strong data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2409\">17 million euros in the first eight years<\/strong>, as well as an <strong data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2456\">additional fund of 2 million<\/strong> to separate rainwater and sewage networks, improve urban drainage and reduce leaks. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2544\" data-end=\"2887\">In total, the operational plan includes <strong data-start=\"2579\" data-end=\"2610\">49 priority actions<\/strong>, mainly focused on improving water infrastructures, optimizing the sewerage and rainwater network, installing <strong data-start=\"2755\" data-end=\"2782\">smart meters<\/strong> and improving water efficiency. The goal is to move from <strong data-start=\"2846\" data-end=\"2874\">78% to 90% efficiency<\/strong> in two years. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2889\" data-end=\"3078\">Sousa defined the day as &#8220;<strong data-start=\"2920\" data-end=\"2946\">a great day for Ibiza<\/strong>&#8221; and regretted that the previous progressive government &#8220;did nothing&#8221; to speed up a competition that had been stuck for more than a decade.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3080\" data-end=\"3134\"><strong data-start=\"3084\" data-end=\"3134\">PSOE calls for vigilance and questions deadlines<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3136\" data-end=\"3461\">Socialist councilman <strong data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3177\">Jordi Salewski<\/strong> recalled that the previous executive left the work on the tender &#8220;advanced&#8221; and warned that his group will be &#8220;very vigilant&#8221; to ensure that the schedule of works, the deployment of smart meters and the activation of the committed <strong data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3447\">social cohesion fund<\/strong> are met.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3463\" data-end=\"3620\">He also considered it &#8220;<strong data-start=\"3481\" data-end=\"3498\">very optimistic<\/strong>&#8221; that the new concessionaire could raise the efficiency of the network to 90% in two years. &#8220;I hope I&#8217;m wrong,&#8221; he declared. <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3622\" data-end=\"3689\"><strong data-start=\"3626\" data-end=\"3689\">The awarding is part of a plenary session with key decisions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3691\" data-end=\"3822\">The approval of the water contract took place in an extraordinary plenary session marked by other important agreements for the municipality:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3824\" data-end=\"4514\">\n<li data-start=\"3824\" data-end=\"3965\">\n<p data-start=\"3826\" data-end=\"3965\"><strong data-start=\"3826\" data-end=\"3883\">Housing agreement with the Consell (1.003 million):<\/strong> rental subsidies, coliving for young people and creation of new public housing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3966\" data-end=\"4161\">\n<p data-start=\"3968\" data-end=\"4161\"><strong data-start=\"3968\" data-end=\"4020\">Transformation of the EI-10 (more than 13 million):<\/strong> the City Council will tender and execute an intervention that will turn the ring road into an urban avenue that will connect ses Figueretes and Can Misses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4162\" data-end=\"4295\">\n<p data-start=\"4164\" data-end=\"4295\"><strong data-start=\"4164\" data-end=\"4208\">500,000 euros for storm damage:<\/strong> funds earmarked for emergency works following the <em data-start=\"4268\" data-end=\"4282\">Ex Gabrielle<\/em> and <em data-start=\"4285\" data-end=\"4292\">Alice<\/em> episodes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4296\" data-end=\"4446\">\n<p data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4446\"><strong data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4360\">Amortization of the loan with Caja Rural (11.95 million):<\/strong> the City Council will have <strong data-start=\"4389\" data-end=\"4403\">zero debt<\/strong> thanks to the surplus of fiscal year 2024.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4447\" data-end=\"4514\">\n<p data-start=\"4449\" data-end=\"4514\"><strong data-start=\"4449\" data-end=\"4513\">Approval of the addendum to the Tourism Sustainability Plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4516\" data-end=\"4845\">The first deputy mayor and councilor for Economic Resources, <strong data-start=\"4583\" data-end=\"4596\">Gema Mar\u00ed<\/strong>, stressed that the early cancellation of the loan reflects &#8220;the good financial health of the Consistory&#8221; and recalled that the funds made it possible to implement essential projects in education, mobility, sports, public transport and municipal services.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2432\" data-end=\"2710\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The provisional award foresees 17 million in hydraulic improvements and a plan of 49 actions.
