The initiative, promoted by the company <strong>Bodegas BH SL<\/strong>, contemplates the <strong>aging of wine underwater<\/strong> through the immersion of fifteen watertight buoys that will act as underwater aging chambers.   <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"4472\" data-end=\"4681\">\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/underwater-wine-buoys-in-ibiza-this-is-the-first-mediterranean-project-with-15-capsules-and-4000-liters-of-wine\/?swcfpc=1\">Underwater wine buoys in Ibiza: this is the first Mediterranean project with 15 capsules and 4,000 liters of wine<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application to temporarily occupy an area of 32 square meters of the maritime-terrestrial public domain has already been published by the <strong>Balearic Government&#8217;s Ministry of the Sea and Water Cycle<\/strong> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caib.es\/eboibfront\/es\/2025\/12185\/707939\/informacion-publica-sobre-una-solicitud-de-autoriz\">Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB)<\/a>, thus opening the legal period of public exposure so that allegations can be submitted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company based in <\/span>Trujillo (C\u00e1ceres) <b>manages a similar project in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a French commune located in the Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Atlantiques department in the New Aquitaine region on the shores of the Bay of Biscay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">underwater white wine, which is called <em>Habla del Mar<\/em>, is marketed at <strong>21 euros per bottle of 750 milliliters<\/strong>. immersion process will be carried out by means of <\/span><b>watertight buoys<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which will be anchored -if the project is approved- every year between 2026 and 2029, and will be removed at the end of each season. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each of the 15 buoys may contain up to <\/span><b>270 usable liters<\/b><span
