Her son declared that, despite the diagnosis, his mother &#8220;is a normal person&#8221; and that the disorder did not affect her daily life. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"1138\">During the opening of the trial, the prosecutor had already advanced that the woman suffers from schizoaffective disorder, although she remarked that &#8220;<strong data-start=\"4718\" data-end=\"4754\">she knew perfectly well what she was doing<\/strong> and had the will to do it&#8221;, without showing nervousness or empathy at the time of the facts.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1173\">&#8220;It has no mortgages and no expenses.&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1469\"><strong data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1272\">I.C.N.&#8217;s son assured the court that his mother was not experiencing financial difficulties<\/strong>, thus dismissing one of the possible motives put forward by the prosecution.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1469\">&#8220;She has no mortgages and no expenses,&#8221; he said, adding that he was unaware of any relationship between his mother and the victim&#8217;s son.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/fatal-fire-in-ibiza-the-accused-had-a-history-of-spraying-acid-in-the-face-of-an-ex-partner\/?swcfpc=1\">Fatal fire in Ibiza: the accused had a history of spraying acid in the face of an ex-partner<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1469\">One of the key pieces of evidence against the accused are the recordings in which she is seen leaving her house at times coinciding with the fire. In these images the woman is wearing different clothes and her face is covered with a veil. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1469\">&#8220;<strong>She wore a veil so that the neighbors could not see her<\/strong>,&#8221; said the Guardia Civil investigators, insisting that the woman seen in fifty recordings is the accused &#8220;without any doubt&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1801\">In this context, the son reported that his mother went out for walks covered with scarves or hats since she suffered an attempted hit-and-run and death threats by an ex-partner, events that she reported to the <strong data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1708\">Office of the Dona del Consell de Ibiza<\/strong>.
