The Department of Road Infrastructures of the Consell de Eivissa<\/strong> has announced that as of Monday, November 24,<\/strong> traffic will be completely cut off on the first section of the Jes\u00fas crossing<\/strong>, as part of the road surface rehabilitation<\/strong> project of the Jes\u00fas-Santa Eul\u00e0ria road (EI-100).<\/strong> The works are part of the plan initiated on October 16, 2025<\/strong>, with a six-month<\/strong> completion period.<\/p>\n

The intervention will affect the section between the beginning of the road and Gavina street<\/strong>, where pavement improvement works will be carried out. In order to carry out these actions, it will be necessary to close the section day and night<\/strong>, without interruption<\/strong>, for a period of approximately two weeks<\/strong>, until December 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During this time, road traffic will remain completely closed<\/strong>, although access to neighbors and businesses<\/strong> will be allowed. To this end, there will be signalmen operating 24 hours a day<\/strong> at the ends of the affected section, who will facilitate the entry and exit of residents and affected establishments.<\/p>\n

The rest of the users will have to access the urban center of Jes\u00fas through the new bypass<\/strong>, which will be enabled as an alternative route while the road is cut off. The Consell has published a map specifying the exact stretch affected by the restrictions.<\/p>\n

The insular institution has assured that it will keep informing in a timely manner on the evolution of the works<\/strong> and of any new affectation that may arise throughout the process. He also thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation<\/strong> and apologized for any inconvenience this work may cause.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
