The meeting takes place after Monday&#8217;s negotiation, which lasted more than five hours, concluded without consensus, as <strong>La Voz de Ibiza<\/strong> advanced. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/civil-servants-pay-rise-when-it-will-take-effect-and-why-2026-could-be-key\/\">Civil servants&#8217; pay rise: when it will take effect and why 2026 could be key<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1489\"><strong data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1489\">The main blockage: the 4 % limit in 2025 and 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"2007\"><strong data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1615\">CCOO argues that the 4% cap planned for 2025 -with retroactive effect from January- and for 2026 is &#8220;insufficient&#8221;<\/strong> and that this is the central obstacle to an agreement. In its communiqu\u00e9, the union has warned that there is &#8220;margin to reach a meeting point&#8221;, although it keeps on the table the possibility of mobilizations if the Government maintains its approach. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2009\" data-end=\"2373\">For its part, <strong data-start=\"2023\" data-end=\"2103\">CSIF shares the concern about the first two years of the wage cycle<\/strong> and warns that, if the Executive does not modify the 4% ceiling, &#8220;we will have to return to the streets&#8221;. <strong data-start=\"2204\" data-end=\"2279\">The union will consult the content negotiated with its internal bodies<\/strong>, but argues that the text presented by the Civil Service is &#8220;improvable in many aspects&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2380\" data-end=\"2446\"><strong data-start=\"2383\" data-end=\"2446\">Government commitment: 2.5 % in the December payroll<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2447\" data-end=\"2859\"><strong data-start=\"2447\" data-end=\"2646\">The Ministry&#8217;s proposal includes a total increase of 11%, one point more than its initial offer, in addition to a Royal Decree-Law that would allow a 2.5% increase corresponding to 2025 to be paid in December<\/strong>, effective January 1.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2861\" data-end=\"3092\"><strong data-start=\"2861\" data-end=\"2924\">The Civil Service proposes that the increase be entirely fixed<\/strong>, without the variable tranches of the previous agreement, which could raise the real increase to 11.45% due to the sliding of the tables, according to negotiating sources.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3148\"><strong data-start=\"3102\" data-end=\"3148\">Attempts to rebalance between 2026 and 2027<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3149\" data-end=\"3565\">During Monday&#8217;s meeting, <strong data-start=\"3179\" data-end=\"3288\">UGT proposed moving half a point of the increase from 2027 to 2026 to reinforce next year&#8217;s increase<\/strong>, going from 5% to 4.5% in 2027 and raising the previous year. The Government rejected this possibility on the understanding that it would compromise the agreed four-year framework. <strong data-start=\"3455\" data-end=\"3518\">UGT is, for now, the only organization that endorses the text<\/strong>, although it admits that &#8220;there are still some details to be closed&#8221;. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3572\" data-end=\"3631\"><strong data-start=\"3575\" data-end=\"3631\">Impact on public employees in Balearic Islands and Ibiza<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3632\" data-end=\"4037\">The salary revision would affect all administrations -State, communities and municipalities-, including public employees in Ibiza and Formentera, who also maintain their own claims such as <strong data-start=\"3838\" data-end=\"3882\">the update of the insularity bonus, a claim endorsed at Monday&#8217;s meeting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/civil-servants-in-ibiza-and-formentera-will-receive-300-euros-more-per-month-when-the-insularity-bonus-is-equalized-to-the-canary-islands\/?swcfpc=1\">Civil servants in Ibiza and Formentera will receive 300 euros more per month when the insularity bonus is equalized to the Canary Islands.<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4039\" data-end=\"4306\"><strong data-start=\"4039\" data-end=\"4104\">CSIF stresses that the Ministry has accepted historical measures<\/strong>, such as eliminating the replacement rate, improving internal promotion, updating the amounts for insularity and reason for service after two decades frozen and strengthening Muface healthcare.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4313\" data-end=\"4360\"><strong data-start=\"4316\" data-end=\"4360\">Inflation, the argument of the Executive<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4361\" data-end=\"4719\">The Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function, \u00d3scar L\u00f3pez, has defended that <strong data-start=\"4456\" data-end=\"4535\">&#8220;the increase has been proposed taking into account the evolution of inflation&#8221;,<\/strong> with the aim of avoiding loss of purchasing power.
