The Ses Dozte Naus Foundation<\/strong> has launched a new edition of the Open Call<\/strong> artistic residency program ,<\/strong> which will run from 2025 to 2026 and will feature the participation of three artists selected from more than 200 international candidates: Diogo da Cruz, Gala Kn\u00f6rr and Ibiza-born Marina Mar\u00f3n<\/strong>. The residency, designed to promote artistic mobility and professionalization at different creative stages, will combine exploration, research and production in direct connection with Ibiza. <\/p>\n

The residency is structured in two distinct periods. The first phase, which starts this week, will focus on research, dialogue with local agents and analysis of the natural, social and cultural landscape of the island. <\/p>\n

In 2026, the production phase and public presentation of the projects developed will take place. The objective, according to the foundation, is to generate new critical readings of the territory and strengthen the local artistic fabric through resources, support and specific work spaces. <\/p>\n

An international jury and specialized accompaniment<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The 2025-2026 edition had a jury formed by Elise Lammer<\/strong>, Javier Aparicio<\/strong> and \u00c1ngeles Ferragut,<\/strong> director of Ses12naus<\/strong>. In addition, the residency will offer curatorial accompaniment by Cristina Anglada, an<\/strong> independent curator with an international career and co-curator of ARCOmadrid<\/strong> ‘s Opening<\/strong> section in 2024<\/strong> and 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The three artists will develop research linked to the Ibizan territory and will share their first results within a public program of activities scheduled for Saturdays, November 29, December 6 and 13.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three lines of work<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Marina Mar\u00f3n<\/strong>, Ibizan artist, will explore the essential geometry of the farmhouse<\/strong> as a way of relating to the landscape, combining painting, sculpture and spatial practices. Her workshop “Architecture without an architect”<\/em> <\/strong>will be held on November 29<\/strong> at La Carpinter\u00eda<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Diogo da Cruz<\/strong> will focus his research on salt pans and island landscapes as living archives, delving into the historical and socio-political traces they contain. His public activity, “Take a Salt Walk”<\/strong><\/em>,<\/strong> will take place on December 6<\/strong> in Ses Salines.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Gala Kn\u00f6rr<\/strong> will address club culture and its emotional, symbolic and collective languages, in the context of Ibiza’s central role in the history of electronic music. She will lead the workshop “Soft is the night”<\/em><\/strong> on December 13<\/strong> at La Carpinter\u00eda.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

A program open to the public<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Open Call program, which is supported by the Institut d’Estudis Balearics (IEB), invites citizens and industry professionals to participate in public activities. To attend, it is necessary to register by sending an email to info@ses12naus.org<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n
