The City Council of Eivissa adds a new date to its Art and Music<\/strong> cycle with the performance of the duo formed by Bel\u00e9n Juan and Omar Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong>, who will offer a concert this Sunday, November 30<\/strong>, at 7:00 pm<\/strong> in Es Polvor\u00ed<\/strong>. The proposal, marked by the fusion of styles and the experience of both artists, promises an afternoon full of excitement for residents and visitors. <\/p>\n

Omar Guzm\u00e1n’s trajectory: three decades of music in Eivissa<\/h2>\n

Cuban pianist Omar Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong> arrived on the island in 1996<\/strong> to join the mythical Teatro Pereyra<\/strong>, an essential meeting point for lovers of live music. A graduate of the Escuela Profesional de M\u00fasica de Cuba, Guzm\u00e1n has since developed a versatile and solid career<\/strong>, collaborating with such renowned voices as Ricardito<\/strong> and Muriel Fowler<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

In addition to accompanying many local artists, the pianist has promoted his own projects and has participated in various jazz festivals<\/strong>, where he has demonstrated a great artistic personality and a style marked by mastery and improvisation.<\/p>\n

Bel\u00e9n Juan: from lyric training to a consolidated project on the island<\/h2>\n

The singer Bel\u00e9n Juan<\/strong> began her training in 2010<\/strong>, combining lyrical singing<\/strong> with modern singing<\/strong>. Her versatility led her to be part of various blues, jazz and gospel<\/strong> bands, with which she performed on numerous stages in Eivissa. <\/p>\n

Later, she moved to Madrid<\/strong> to perfect her vocal technique and join a funk band. Upon his return to the island, he started a jazz, soul and funk duo<\/g> with Guzm\u00e1n that has become consolidated in the local scene. Juan also made his mark at the Festival de la Canci\u00f3n<\/strong>, where he won the recording of a demo with his song Nakama<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
