The initiative, published Thursday in the <strong data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"601\">Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB)<\/strong>, is a new decisive step for the environmental recovery of one of the most deteriorated enclaves in the north of the island. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/ibiza-renews-its-road-network-sant-joan-tenders-three-projects-for-1-9-million-euros\/?swcfpc=1\">Ibiza renews its road network: Sant Joan tenders three projects for 1.9 million euros<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"1188\">The insular institution has initially approved the <strong data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"827\">execution project of the demolition works<\/strong>, considering as a priority the landscape restoration of the area. The document, approved last <g id=\"gid_1\">November 11<\/g>, will be submitted to <g id=\"gid_2\">public information for twenty working days<\/g> from this Friday. During this period it will be available for consultation at the Technical Services of the Department of Presidency, Finance, Economic Management and Sports of the Consell.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1547\">After the public exposition, the interested parties may present <strong data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1266\">allegations<\/strong>. If none are registered, the project will be finally approved. At the same time, the Council will apply to the City Council of Sant Joan for the <strong data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1434\">planning permission<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1474\">95% ICIO rebate<\/strong>, as it is an action considered of special municipal interest.  <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1615\"><strong data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1615\">A key breakthrough in a process expected for decades<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1617\" data-end=\"1944\">The public exhibition of the project is a continuation of the administrative progress made in recent months. In June, the Consell Executiu awarded the drafting of the executive project and the construction management for an amount of <strong data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"1877\">96,800 euros (VAT included)<\/strong>, which allowed to start the technical work prior to the demolition. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1946\" data-end=\"2393\">Then, both the president of the Consell, <strong data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2004\">Vicent Mar\u00ed<\/strong>, and the mayor of Sant Joan, <strong data-start=\"2038\" data-end=\"2052\">Tania Mar\u00ed<\/strong>, stressed the importance of this intervention to <strong data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2148\">&#8220;close a visual and ecological wound&#8221;<\/strong> in the north coast.
