The event, held from 6.30 pm, gathered a large audience, mostly families, who enjoyed Christmas carols, live music and activities for the little ones. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"777\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/what-to-do\/lights-and-melodies-will-wrap-santa-eularia-in-a-magical-christmas-welcome\/\">Lights and melodies will wrap Santa Eul\u00e0ria in a magical Christmas welcome<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"777\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/what-to-do\/ibiza-inaugurates-christmas-with-a-unique-videomapping-and-a-surprising-show-in-reina-sofia\/\">Ibiza inaugurates Christmas with a unique videomapping and a surprising show in Reina Sof\u00eda<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"828\">Music, markets and family activities<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"1115\">After the lighting of the tree and the Christmas lights, several school groups offered a recital of <strong data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"949\">Christmas carols<\/strong>, on a day that also served to open to the public the booths of the <strong data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1042\">Mercat de Nadal<\/strong>, where products of restoration, crafts and local commerce are offered.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1462\">During the first day, the little ones enjoyed themselves in the <strong data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1214\">Playful Goblins<\/strong> area, where activities such as <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1323\">sack races, workshops, storytelling and traditional games<\/strong> were organized. The City Council has announced that <strong data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1389\">every non-holiday Monday<\/strong> will be <strong data-start=\"1406\" data-end=\"1422\">Children&#8217;s Day<\/strong>, with free access to the attractions. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1516\">A tree full of wishes and live music<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1849\">The <strong data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1551\">Tree of Good Wishes<\/strong> was another of the most popular points of the event. Children and adults began to hang their messages for the new year and to take pictures at the photocall of the <g id=\"gid_1\">Cierva Blanca<\/g>, one of the novelties of this edition. In addition, a <strong data-start=\"1798\" data-end=\"1818\">Christmas karaoke<\/strong> area was set up to liven up the atmosphere even more.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"2107\">The cultural program includes concerts with artists such as <strong data-start=\"1913\" data-end=\"1930\">Joven Dolores<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1932\" data-end=\"1954\">Swingin T\u00f3nic Band<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"1972\">Soul Doctor<\/strong>, as well as theme parties that will transform the promenade into a kind of ski slope with artificial snow and winter atmosphere.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2161\">A program that lasts until Epiphany<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2163\" data-end=\"2537\">With this inaugural event, <strong data-start=\"2188\" data-end=\"2203\">Sant Antoni<\/strong> activates a Christmas program that will run <strong data-start=\"2254\" data-end=\"2277\">until January 6<\/strong> and includes theatrical performances, sporting events, solidarity activities and the traditional celebrations of <strong data-start=\"2394\" data-end=\"2408\">New Year&#8217;s Eve<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2411\" data-end=\"2420\">Epiphany<\/strong>.
