The event, as highlighted by the insular institution in its official program, combined light, music and children&#8217;s protagonism. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1750\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/society\/christmas-2025-changes-everything-goodbye-to-the-balls-on-the-tree-and-the-classic-wreath-on-the-door\/\">Christmas 2025 changes everything: goodbye to the balls on the tree and the classic wreath on the door<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"2227\">The day began at <strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1792\">17.00 hours<\/strong> with the show <em data-start=\"1812\" data-end=\"1850\">Igniting the dreams of Christmas<\/em>, a proposal of Shows Ibiza integrated in the <strong data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1910\">Mininadal<\/strong>, the space that, until <strong data-start=\"1937\" data-end=\"1951\">January 4<\/strong>, will offer <strong data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"1999\">workshops and family activities<\/strong> as a meeting point for residents of Formentera.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2229\" data-end=\"2865\">At <strong data-start=\"2235\" data-end=\"2250\">18.00 hours<\/strong>, the facade of the church of Sant Francesc became the scene of one of the most anticipated moments: <strong data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2402\">a countdown projected on the temple<\/strong> that brought together dozens of children and adults. <strong data-start=\"2444\" data-end=\"2473\">The president of the Consell<\/strong>, \u00d3scar Portas, accompanied by a large group of children, was in charge of pressing the button that activated the Christmas lighting throughout the town, a gesture that gave way to a traditional image of the festive imaginary of Formentera.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2867\" data-end=\"3456\">Minutes later, at <strong data-start=\"2890\" data-end=\"2905\">18.30 hours<\/strong>, officially opened the <strong data-start=\"2932\" data-end=\"2952\">Christmas Market<\/strong>, which this year <strong data-start=\"2967\" data-end=\"2987\">expands its offer<\/strong> to strengthen citizen participation and <strong data-start=\"3031\" data-end=\"3062\">promote local trade<\/strong>. The space combines crafts, catering and social revitalization proposals. In addition, the opening was accompanied by the <strong data-start=\"3190\" data-end=\"3233\">rocking carols of the Santa&#8217;s Band<\/strong>, which provided the soundtrack to the start of the festive campaign.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2867\" data-end=\"3456\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/event\/navidad-magica-en-ibiza-mas-de-50-dias-de-actividades-para-toda-la-familia\/2025-11-25\/\">Magical Christmas in Ibiza: more than 50 days of activities for the whole family<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2867\" data-end=\"3456\">Christmas Market Schedule<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3458\" data-end=\"3912\">The Christmas Market will remain open until <strong data-start=\"3507\" data-end=\"3522\">January 11<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"3538\" data-end=\"3561\">12.30 to 16.00 hours<\/strong> and from <strong data-start=\"3567\" data-end=\"3590\">18.00 to 23.00 hours<\/strong> from Monday to Thursday. From Friday to Sunday, the closing will be delayed until <strong data-start=\"3665\" data-end=\"3680\">23.45 hours<\/strong>, an extension that is part of the measures to increase participation in the social life of Formentera. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3914\" data-end=\"4433\">The festive program continues this Tuesday with one of the highlights of the calendar: the opening of the exhibition <strong data-start=\"4044\" data-end=\"4090\">&#8220;Joan Mar\u00ed Cardona. 50 images. 100 years&#8221;,<\/strong> which will open at <strong data-start=\"4109\" data-end=\"4124\">12.00 noon<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"4131\" data-end=\"4162\">Antoni Tur Gabrielet Center<\/strong>. During the afternoon, from <strong data-start=\"4192\" data-end=\"4207\">5 p.m.<\/strong>, the Mininadal will resume its proposals with the pottery workshop <strong data-start=\"4272\" data-end=\"4291\">&#8220;Juego de Mesa&#8221;,<\/strong> taught by Marta Santamar\u00eda, an activity that combines tradition and creativity and that is generating considerable interest among families. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4435\" data-end=\"5080\">This Christmas comes to Formentera with a diverse agenda that includes <strong data-start=\"4502\" data-end=\"4691\">concerts, workshops, cultural programming, the visit of Santa Claus, the Christmas Concert in the Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n, the arrival of the royal pages and New Year&#8217;s Eve at the Market<\/strong>, among other proposals.
