The <strong>State Meteorological Agency (AEMET)<\/strong> confirms that the month was dry, registering <strong>only 37 l\/m\u00b2<\/strong> on the island <strong>, when normal is around 69 l\/m\u00b2<\/strong>. Rainfall was mainly concentrated at Ibiza Airport, with the highest daily amount on the 6th, the result of a storm that left 29 l\/m\u00b2 in a few hours. There were two days with thunderstorms, half the usual, and only one day of fog recorded.   <\/p>\n<p>The average temperature was 14.9 \u00baC, within the normal range, but with a marked contrast between mild days and very cool nights.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/new-resurfacing-in-ibiza-traffic-cuts-and-detours-starting-this-thursday-in-sa-llavanera\/?swcfpc=1\">New resurfacing in Ibiza: traffic cuts and detours starting this Thursday in sa Llavanera<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sant Joan, the coldest corner<\/h2>\n<p>The absolute minimum of the month on the island was recorded in <strong>Sant Joan de Labritja<\/strong>, where thermometers dropped <strong>to 0.7 \u00baC on November 22<\/strong>, the lowest value in Ibiza for the entire month. This data reinforces the colder character of the north of the island, with a relief and a more rural environment that favor much colder nights than on the coast. <\/p>\n<h2>Mild highs and occasional thunderstorms<\/h2>\n<p>In contrast to that punctual plunge in Sant Joan, <strong>the maximum of the month in Ibiza reached 26.5 \u00baC in Sant Antoni de Portmany<\/strong> on the 13th, still with an almost end-of-summer atmosphere. The storm on the 6th left the highest daily rainfall of the month at Ibiza Airport, with 29 l\/m\u00b2, accompanied by a wind gust of up to 85 km\/h from the northwest. <\/p>\n<h2>Formentera, the other side of the drought<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Formentera experienced a very dry November<\/strong>, with just 19 l\/m\u00b2 compared to the usual 53 l\/m\u00b2, which means about 64% less rain than normal. Even so, temperatures remained mild, with daytime values around 18-19 \u00baC and minimum temperatures that hardly dropped below 13-15 \u00baC, consolidating the smallest of the Pitiusas as the warmest refuge from the cold that hit especially the interior of Ibiza. <\/p>\n<h2>Menorca and Mallorca: more rain and waves<\/h2>\n<p>While Ibiza was short of water, Menorca closed November as a wet month, with an average rainfall of 109 l\/m\u00b2, above normal, and several episodes of very rough seas with waves exceeding five meters at the end of the month. Mallorca, for its part, remained at around 70 l\/m\u00b2, with northern areas much wetter than the rest and torrential records in a few minutes associated with heavy storms. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was on November 22, according to Aemet data.
