For this, the Environment Area has hired a specialized company with specific technical means for the lifting and transfer of large fragments from the sea. The maneuvers are carried out from a boat equipped for this work.  <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_142007\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-142007\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-142006 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-142007\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">In total, 2,840 kilos of materials were recovered.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"1165\">So far,<strong> two of the most voluminous remains of the ship<\/strong> have been removed. However, the work has been temporarily interrupted due to bad weather, which has prevented the completion of the removal of a third piece planned at this stage. The Consell plans to resume the work as soon as the weather conditions improve.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/it-was-a-costly-and-complex-process-the-consells-justification-for-not-having-withdrawn-the-helisara-before-the-storm\/?swcfpc=1\">&#8220;It was a costly and complex process&#8221;: the Consell&#8217;s justification for not having withdrawn the Helisara before the storm.<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1813\">This operation complements the initial intervention carried out at the beginning of the month after the storm. Then, a team from the company Prezero removed the debris scattered on the sand and the sheet of water to prevent its return to the sea and its environmental impact. In total,<strong> 2,840 kilos of materials<\/strong> were recovered.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1815\" data-end=\"2122\">The Councilor for the Environment, Ver\u00f3nica Castell\u00f3, pointed out that the priority is to &#8220;secure the area and continue with the extraction of the most voluminous remains&#8221;, and added that after this phase the seabed will be inspected to eliminate the pieces still submerged that could cause damage to the ecosystems.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_142005\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-142005\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-142004\" src=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-4.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Retirada-del-Helsira-4-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-142005\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">So far, two of the ship&#8217;s most voluminous wrecks have been removed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p data-start=\"2124\" data-end=\"2407\">The extracted remains are transferred to the port of La Savina and, by means of a crane truck, are removed from the water.
