The average expenditure per visitor stood at <strong data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1374\">1,286 euros<\/strong>, while the average daily expenditure reached <strong data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1436\">202 euros<\/strong>, reinforcing the idea of a tourist with greater consumption capacity. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1737\">Despite this slight decrease in hotel overnight stays in October (-1.3%), the number of travelers did not stop growing: the Pitiusas Islands received <strong data-start=\"855\" data-end=\"875\">315,000 tourists<\/strong> that month, <strong data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"894\">10.4% more<\/strong> than a year earlier, with a special pull from the international market (258,000 visitors, with increases in the main European issuers).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1737\">This greater flow of tourists, coupled with the increase in the price of accommodation rates, helps to explain that the total expenditure is soaring. Although the specific October arrivals figures for the Pitiusas must always be read within the framework of the FRONTUR statistics, the national and Balearic trend of that month -a generalized increase of around 10% year-on-year in Spain- is also reflected in the archipelago, where the inflow of international tourists recovered dynamism after a more irregular summer. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2272\" data-end=\"2639\">The combination of <strong data-start=\"2290\" data-end=\"2303\">higher spending<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2305\" data-end=\"2351\">better performance in the autumn months<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2354\" data-end=\"2395\">growth in international tourism<\/strong>, together with a more pronounced drop in domestic tourism, confirms the movement that island institutions have been announcing for some time: <strong data-start=\"2536\" data-end=\"2638\">visitors arriving outside the summer tend to be more loyal, more stable and with a larger budget.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2641\" data-end=\"2705\"><strong data-start=\"2645\" data-end=\"2705\">Ibiza, beyond the summer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"2957\">From the Consell de Ibiza, the reading is clear. After various promotional meetings, especially at fairs such as the World Travel Market in London or FITUR, the institution argues that the figures begin to reflect the effects of its strategy: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2958\" data-end=\"3269\">\n<li data-start=\"2958\" data-end=\"3001\">\n<p data-start=\"2960\" data-end=\"3001\"><strong data-start=\"2960\" data-end=\"2998\">more activity in spring and autumn<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3002\" data-end=\"3040\">\n<p data-start=\"3004\" data-end=\"3040\"><strong data-start=\"3004\" data-end=\"3037\">promotion of sports tourism<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3041\" data-end=\"3095\">\n<p data-start=\"3043\" data-end=\"3095\"><strong data-start=\"3043\" data-end=\"3092\">greater promotion of culture and heritage<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3158\">\n<p data-start=\"3098\" data-end=\"3158\"><strong data-start=\"3098\" data-end=\"3155\">bets on landscape, nature and wellbeing<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3269\">\n<p data-start=\"3161\" data-end=\"3269\">and a sustained campaign for Ibiza to be perceived as an attractive destination during <strong data-start=\"3242\" data-end=\"3268\">the twelve months of the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3271\" data-end=\"3499\">The Consell itself has insisted on several occasions that the degree of loyalty of the &#8220;off-season&#8221; visitor exceeds that of the midsummer tourist, which strengthens the local economy in traditionally weaker periods.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3548\" data-end=\"3911\">The performance of 2025 suggests a more profound change than the simple &#8220;end of a good season&#8221;. Record spending in the first ten months of the year, coupled with the strongest October in the series, points to a <strong data-start=\"3767\" data-end=\"3805\">stabilizing tourism model that<\/strong> generates less pressure in July and August and redistributes economic activity throughout the year. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3913\" data-end=\"4191\">For the productive sectors, this transition means <strong data-start=\"3970\" data-end=\"3995\">more stable income<\/strong>, less dependence on summer peaks and more room to plan staffing and operations.
