This was stated this Tuesday by the president of the Government, <strong data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"727\">Marga Prohens<\/strong>, during the plenary session of the <strong data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"763\">Parliament<\/strong>, in response to a parliamentary question. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"1223\">According to him, the mobilizations caused the cancellation of <strong data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"905\">11,538 medical consultations<\/strong>, of which <strong data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"971\">some 6,000 corresponded to Primary Care<\/strong>, as well as <strong data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1017\">316 surgical interventions<\/strong>. Prohens blamed the <strong data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1083\">central government<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1097\">PSOE<\/strong>, who she accused of &#8220;defending public health when they are in the opposition and applying cuts whenever they are in government&#8221;. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/health-strike-leaves-more-than-1300-appointments-unattended-in-ibiza-and-formentera-in-four-days\/?swcfpc=1\">Health strike leaves more than 1,300 appointments unattended in Ibiza and Formentera in four days<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1290\">Criticism of the Framework Statute and defense of the Government&#8217;s measures<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1515\">The president has accused the State Executive of having opened a <strong data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1404\">conflict with healthcare professionals<\/strong> as a result of the &#8220;<strong data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1433\">imposition<\/strong>&#8221; of the <strong data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1457\">Framework Statute<\/strong>, which, in her opinion, has been the trigger for the protests.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1792\">In response to this, Prohens defended the health policy of her government, highlighting the <strong data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1669\">240 million euro increase in the health budget<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1716\">recovery of the professional career<\/strong> and the implementation of a <strong data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1791\">shock plan against waiting lists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"1974\">In this regard, he stressed that the average waiting times have improved, going from <strong data-start=\"1882\" data-end=\"1919\">125 to 110 days for an operation<\/strong> and from <strong data-start=\"1925\" data-end=\"1973\">91 to 65 days for a specialized consultation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1976\" data-end=\"2037\">Garcia: &#8220;The government is very dangerous for citizens&#8221;.<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2039\" data-end=\"2258\">In the same vein, the <strong data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2115\">Councilor for Health, Manuela Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, has expressed herself, who in several of her speeches has accused the central government of <strong data-start=\"2189\" data-end=\"2257\">cutting almost 50% of the health budget by 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2260\" data-end=\"2626\">Garc\u00eda has gone further by assuring that both the State Executive and the Minister of Health, <strong data-start=\"2355\" data-end=\"2372\">M\u00f3nica Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, are &#8220;<strong data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2417\">very dangerous for the citizens<\/strong>&#8220;.
