This circumstance would be at the origin of many of the complaints received by the consumer association. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2245\">The same sources have pointed out that <strong data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2051\">the coincidence with the Christmas holidays<\/strong> is causing that many of the new appointments are being granted <strong data-start=\"2120\" data-end=\"2150\">two or three weeks in advance<\/strong>, which increases the perception of delay among users affected by the health strike.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2247\" data-end=\"2303\">Hospital consultations and surgeries, yes rescheduled<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2305\" data-end=\"2626\">IbSalut has specified, however, that <strong data-start=\"2347\" data-end=\"2461\">hospital consultations, diagnostic tests and surgical interventions<\/strong> that had to be canceled as a result of the medical strike <strong data-start=\"2347\" data-end=\"2461\">are being rescheduled<\/strong>, a process that is being developed progressively in the hospitals of the archipelago.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2628\" data-end=\"2888\">In this area, the impact of unemployment is now forcing <strong data-start=\"2679\" data-end=\"2744\">a significant part of the healthcare activity<\/strong> to be <strong data-start=\"2679\" data-end=\"2744\">rearranged<\/strong>, especially in centers with high healthcare pressure, where both first visits and scheduled check-ups and treatments are concentrated.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2890\" data-end=\"2965\">Ibiza and Formentera, among the areas most affected by cancellations<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2967\" data-end=\"3351\"><strong data-start=\"2967\" data-end=\"3046\">In the case of Ibiza and Formentera, the situation takes on special relevance<\/strong> due to the high number of appointments suspended during the four days of health strike held between December 9 and 12. According to provisional data from the Health Service, <strong data-start=\"3234\" data-end=\"3300\">1,355 Primary Care consultations could not be attended<\/strong> in the Pitiusas for reasons beyond the patients&#8217; control. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3353\" data-end=\"3659\">The impact was <strong data-start=\"3371\" data-end=\"3418\">constant throughout the four days<\/strong>, with between 295 and 362 appointments cancelled each day, which is evidence of the continued impact of the strike on the health centers of both islands and anticipates <strong data-start=\"3569\" data-end=\"3631\">added difficulties in absorbing the activity accumulated<\/strong> in the following weeks.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3661\" data-end=\"3720\">The Can Misses Hospital concentrates a large part of the impact of the<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3722\" data-end=\"4013\">At the hospital level, <strong data-start=\"3757\" data-end=\"3846\">the Can Misses Hospital suffered a significant reduction in its healthcare activity<\/strong>, with <strong data-start=\"3852\" data-end=\"3904\">973 outpatient and surgical procedures suspended<\/strong> during the days of the strike, including outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests, radiology and scheduled surgery.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4015\" data-end=\"4428\">Most of these cancellations correspond to <strong data-start=\"4064\" data-end=\"4117\">usual diagnostic and follow-up circuits<\/strong>, which will probably force to <strong data-start=\"4153\" data-end=\"4216\">reschedule an important part of the suspended activity<\/strong>, increasing the pressure on the main hospital of Ibiza.
