The Ibiza Town Hall has informed that the registration period to participate in the XLIII Cursa Popular Pujada a la Catedral<\/strong> will end next Monday, December 29.<\/strong> The race will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025<\/strong> and will once again be one of the most important sporting events of New Year’s Eve in the city. <\/p>\n

The race is organized by the City Council of Ibiza, with the technical direction of Club Atletisme Piti\u00fas<\/strong>, and this year again includes the VI Gran Premi Eduardo Fioravanti<\/strong>, in tribute to the man who was a key figure in the beginnings and consolidation of this competition, as well as an outstanding promoter of sporting and human values.<\/p>\n

Registration is free and open to the public.<\/h2>\n

Registrations are free<\/strong> and must be formalized through the Elitechip<\/strong> platform(www.elitechip.net)<\/a>. The deadline will remain open until Monday, December 29. <\/p>\n

Those registered who do not have federative or school insurance will be covered by a one-day insurance<\/strong>. It is a popular race, open to all people, federated or not, without distinction of sex or nationality. <\/p>\n

An emblematic tour of the heart of the city<\/h2>\n

The Pujada a la Catedral will have a route of 2,400 meters<\/strong>, starting in the carrer de Los Andenes<\/strong>, next to the monument to the Corsairs, and arriving at the pla\u00e7a de la Catedral<\/strong>. The route runs through some of the most emblematic areas of Ibiza, such as Bartomeu Ramon i Tur Avenue<\/strong>, the streets Jaume I, Narc\u00eds Puget, General Balanzat<\/strong> and carrer Major<\/strong>, among others. <\/p>\n

The start is scheduled at 16.30 hours<\/strong>. The guard<\/strong> service will be available in the Martell<\/strong> area until 15 minutes before the start of the race, while refreshments<\/strong> will be offered at the finish, in the Cathedral Square. <\/p>\n

Bib pick-up and categories<\/h2>\n

The collection of bibs and chips, which are personal and non-transferable<\/strong>, will take place exclusively at the Patronato Municipal de Deportes de Ibiza<\/strong>, at the Can Misses<\/strong> swimming pool, at the following times:<\/p>\n
