The Council of Ministers authorized this Tuesday<\/strong>, at the proposal of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility<\/strong>, the tender of a contract valued at 12.2 million euros (VAT not included)<\/strong> for the maintenance service of the common areas of the ports of Ibiza and La Savina (Formentera).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The contract will meet the conservation needs of the common areas managed by the Balearic Islands Port Authority<\/strong>, such as docks, esplanades, roads, buildings and other port areas, with the aim of guaranteeing their correct operation, the safety of users and the maintenance of the facilities.<\/p>\n

The works contemplated include cleaning and conservation tasks<\/strong>, maintenance of green areas and landscaping<\/strong>, pest control<\/strong> and other actions necessary for the ordinary operation of port infrastructures and the provision of services to operators and citizens.<\/p>\n

The Ministry recalled that the ports of general interest of the Balearic Islands, including Ibiza and La Savina<\/strong>, play an essential role in the supply and mobility of the islands<\/strong>, as well as being points of arrival of passengers and goods.<\/p>\n

Both ports are part of the state network and concentrate a high level of activity throughout the year, which makes it necessary to carry out periodic maintenance work in their common areas to guarantee their use in adequate conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
