This media has asked the Consistory to confirm the number of legal proceedings it faces for its seasonal plan, but the Consistory has not yet responded. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/bolt-the-new-danger-lurking-in-ibizas-cab-industry\/?swcfpc=1\">Bolt, the new danger lurking in Ibiza&#8217;s cab industry<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1672\" data-end=\"1729\"><strong data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"1729\">Appeals against the terms and conditions and against the award<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"2194\">Although the City Council <strong data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1796\">has not provided detailed information<\/strong> on the content of the claims despite the consultation made by this medium, <strong data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1934\">from the sector of salaried cab drivers of Sant Josep<\/strong> it is argued that the resources are divided into <strong data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2001\">two blocks<\/strong>. <strong data-start=\"2003\" data-end=\"2025\">According to this version<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2027\" data-end=\"2082\">two procedures question the regulatory bases<\/strong> of the seasonal plan, while <strong data-start=\"2117\" data-end=\"2193\">four others are directed against the specific allocation of licenses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2196\" data-end=\"2567\">In relation to the <strong data-start=\"2216\" data-end=\"2246\">challenges to the bases<\/strong>, industry sources point to <strong data-start=\"2281\" data-end=\"2323\">discrepancies with the design of the scale<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"2328\" data-end=\"2373\">way merits are accredited and computed<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2379\" data-end=\"2436\">configuration of the distribution of licenses by categories<\/strong>, issues that, in their opinion, could not be fully in line with the law or generate <strong data-start=\"2519\" data-end=\"2543\">legal uncertainty<\/strong> among applicants.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2574\" data-end=\"2613\"><strong data-start=\"2577\" data-end=\"2613\">The focus on merit computation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2615\" data-end=\"3087\">The appeals focused on the <strong data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2660\">awarding of the contract<\/strong> emphasize, according to the sector consulted, <strong data-start=\"2717\" data-end=\"2767\">possible errors in the calculation of scores<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"2772\" data-end=\"2812\">unequal application of the criteria<\/strong> or the <strong data-start=\"2818\" data-end=\"2863\">evaluation of the documentation submitted<\/strong> during the correction phase. <strong data-start=\"2896\" data-end=\"2985\">This line of criticism finds partial support in the first known court decision<\/strong>, which has forced the City Council to <strong data-start=\"3021\" data-end=\"3086\">rectify an award after appreciating a calculation error<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3089\" data-end=\"3396\">In this specific case, the affected party had previously filed <strong data-start=\"3152\" data-end=\"3204\">an appeal for reconsideration before the Consistory itself<\/strong>, requesting a review of his score. After the administrative rejection, he went to court, where the judge ruled in favor of the appellant and ordered the <strong data-start=\"3362\" data-end=\"3395\">granting of the temporary license<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3403\" data-end=\"3461\"><strong data-start=\"3406\" data-end=\"3461\">An administrative process with corrections and lottery<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3463\" data-end=\"3858\">The <strong data-start=\"3466\" data-end=\"3503\">Taxi Seasonal Plan 2025-2028<\/strong> was approved in February and processed during the following weeks by means of <strong data-start=\"3580\" data-end=\"3604\">provisional lists<\/strong>, a period of <strong data-start=\"3620\" data-end=\"3635\">allegations<\/strong> and the final approval of the successful bidders in April. <strong data-start=\"3695\" data-end=\"3800\">In this process, the City Council itself introduced corrections in the calculation of seniority and merits<\/strong>, after detecting material errors in some applications.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3860\" data-end=\"4301\">In addition, the Consistory had to resort to a <strong data-start=\"3906\" data-end=\"3946\">public lottery to resolve ties<\/strong> between applicants with identical scores, a procedure that made it possible to award the last available licenses and to establish a <strong data-start=\"4068\" data-end=\"4088\">reserve order<\/strong> for possible resignations or vacancies. According to industry figures,   <b>about 150 wage earners applied for seasonal licenses. The City Council granted 64. <\/b><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4308\" data-end=\"4360\"><strong data-start=\"4311\" data-end=\"4360\">Expectation in the sector and municipal silence<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4362\" data-end=\"4730\">The group of salaried employees is closely monitoring the evolution of the pending proceedings, in view of the possibility that <strong data-start=\"4494\" data-end=\"4585\">the criterion established in the first ruling may be taken into account in other appeals<\/strong> if the courts detect similar errors.
