The average surface area of the properties is <strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"644\">99.61 square meters<\/strong>, a typology that the Government considers adequate to offer rents below the usual prices of the free market. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"1054\">The cost assumed by the Administration is higher than that paid by tenants. The <strong data-start=\"855\" data-end=\"929\">average price paid to owners is 1,370.39 euros per month<\/strong>, a difference that the Govern justifies as an incentive to attract housing to the rental market with public guarantees, according to <em>Menorca.info.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1433\">The Conselleria d&#8217;Habitatge recognizes that the deployment of the program is still limited and much lower than the initial forecasts, although they defend its effectiveness in incorporating apartments at reasonable prices and with the added security of administrative supervision. The plan seeks to give confidence to reluctant owners for fear of non-payment or deterioration of the properties. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1765\">The conseller d&#8217;Habitatge, <strong data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1480\">Jos\u00e9 Luis Mateo<\/strong>, argues that the <strong data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1515\">Lloguer Segur<\/strong> is an immediate solution while structural housing policies are developed.
