{"id":147393,"date":"2025-12-29T16:25:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T15:25:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/sin-categorizar\/ibiza-launches-on-new-years-eve-a-special-device-for-safer-parties\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T16:25:51","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T15:25:51","slug":"ibiza-launches-on-new-years-eve-a-special-device-for-safer-parties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/ibiza-launches-on-new-years-eve-a-special-device-for-safer-parties\/","title":{"rendered":"Ibiza launches on New Year&#8217;s Eve a special device for safer parties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"338\" data-end=\"762\"><strong data-start=\"338\" data-end=\"421\">Ibiza will premiere next New Year&#8217;s Eve the regional program Fiestas Seguras<\/strong>, an initiative promoted by the Balearic Government to ensure that the great popular celebrations take place in a safe, preventive and responsible environment. <strong data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"704\">The first performance of the program will take place on the night of December 31 in the marquee of Paseo de Vara de Rey<\/strong>, one of the main festive scenes of the city.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"1101\">As explained by the <strong data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"875\">Ministry of the Presidency, Coordination of Government Action and Local Cooperation<\/strong>, the premiere of the program in Ibiza will have a <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"975\">special security and prevention device<\/strong>, designed specifically for this massive celebration and agreed between the various administrations involved.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"1101\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/what-to-do\/new-years-eve-agenda-in-ibiza-and-formentera-all-the-events-to-say-goodbye-to-2025-and-start-2026\/\">New Year&#8217;s Eve agenda in Ibiza and Formentera: all the events to say goodbye to 2025 and start 2026<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1159\"><strong data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1159\">Police coordination and institutional commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1487\">The <strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1198\">plan of objectives of the festival<\/strong> has been agreed and signed by the <strong data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1274\">Ibiza Local Police Headquarters<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1334\">Institute of Public Safety of the Balearic Islands (ISPIB)<\/strong>, an agreement that <strong data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1420\">ensures operational coordination and institutional commitment<\/strong> to implement the measures provided for in the program Fiestas Seguras.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1702\">This coordination will strengthen the prevention of incidents and <strong data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1602\">improve the response to possible risks<\/strong>, on a night when thousands of people gather in the center of Ibiza to say goodbye to the year.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1771\"><strong data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"1771\">Pioneering training on responsible alcohol dispensing<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1773\" data-end=\"2143\">One of the main novelties of the program in Ibiza is the <strong data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"1939\">implementation, for the first time, of specific training in responsible alcohol dispensing<\/strong> aimed at non-professional vendors and dispensers. These are the staff who work occasionally at the bars of popular festivals, a key group in the prevention of abusive consumption. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2346\"><strong data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2190\">This training will not be an isolated action<\/strong>, as the Government plans to extend it to all parties that join the Safe Parties program in the future, consolidating a stable preventive model.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2671\">On the occasion of New Year&#8217;s Eve, a <strong data-start=\"2410\" data-end=\"2477\">pilot training entitled &#8220;Responsible dispensing of alcohol&#8221;,<\/strong> organized by the <strong data-start=\"2497\" data-end=\"2558\">Plan for Addictions and Drug Addiction of the Balearic Islands (Padib)<\/strong> of the Ministry of Health, together with the <strong data-start=\"2600\" data-end=\"2670\">Center for Studies and Prevention of Addictive Behaviors of the Consell<\/strong> de <strong data-start=\"2600\" data-end=\"2670\">Baleares<\/strong>, will also be held on Monday.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2671\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/what-to-do\/santa-eularia-extends-new-years-eve-with-a-youth-party-designed-for-the-whole-family\/\">Santa Eul\u00e0ria extends New Year&#8217;s Eve with a youth party designed for the whole family<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2673\" data-end=\"2727\"><strong data-start=\"2677\" data-end=\"2727\">Prohibition of minors and practical tools<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2729\" data-end=\"3022\">The course addresses <strong data-start=\"2745\" data-end=\"2822\">key issues such as the absolute prohibition of serving alcohol to minors<\/strong>, the refusal to dispense alcoholic beverages to intoxicated persons and <strong data-start=\"2905\" data-end=\"2953\">how to say no properly and safely<\/strong>, as well as offering practical tools for bar staff.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3024\" data-end=\"3195\">This pilot experience, according to the Government, <strong data-start=\"3066\" data-end=\"3141\">is intended to be expanded in the future with training actions of greater scope<\/strong>, thus reinforcing the educational component of the program.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3197\" data-end=\"3251\"><strong data-start=\"3201\" data-end=\"3251\">Integral security and prevention system<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3253\" data-end=\"3694\">In addition to training, the Fiestas Seguras program includes for this New Year&#8217;s Eve in Ibiza -and for the rest of the celebrations adhered- a <strong data-start=\"3391\" data-end=\"3433\">wide range of preventive measures<\/strong>. Among them, the <strong data-start=\"3459\" data-end=\"3545\">delivery of informative material on the prohibition of alcohol sales to minors<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"3550\" data-end=\"3614\">review of the security measures of the nearby premises<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"3619\" data-end=\"3652\">presence of Civil Protection<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3658\" data-end=\"3693\">contracted health care<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3696\" data-end=\"3997\"><strong data-start=\"3727\" data-end=\"3773\">Private security<\/strong> will also be provided <strong data-start=\"3727\" data-end=\"3773\">to reinforce control<\/strong>, as well as the <strong data-start=\"3787\" data-end=\"3854\">installation of a support point against sexual aggressions<\/strong>, one of the program&#8217;s priority lines. In addition, a <strong data-start=\"3929\" data-end=\"3996\">preventive video will be produced and disseminated on social networks<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3999\" data-end=\"4036\"><strong data-start=\"4003\" data-end=\"4036\">&#8220;No party without security&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4038\" data-end=\"4250\">During the presentation of the program in Ibiza, Mayor <strong data-start=\"4096\" data-end=\"4113\">Rafa Triguero<\/strong> stressed that <strong data-start=\"4126\" data-end=\"4204\">New Year&#8217;s Eve is one of the most crowded events of the year in the city<\/strong> and defended that &#8220;there is no party without security&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4252\" data-end=\"4556\">According to Triguero, this program will make it possible to <strong data-start=\"4292\" data-end=\"4392\">anticipate risks, better coordinate all services and send a clear message to citizens<\/strong>: &#8220;In Ibiza we want open and fun parties, but also safe, respectful and well organized, with the joint commitment of all administrations&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4558\" data-end=\"4606\"><strong data-start=\"4562\" data-end=\"4606\">26 adhered municipalities, four of them in Ibiza<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4608\" data-end=\"4921\">The Fiestas Seguras program will be widely implemented in <strong data-start=\"4681\" data-end=\"4689\">2026<\/strong>, following the success of three pilot experiences held at the <strong data-start=\"4750\" data-end=\"4768\">Fir\u00f3 de S\u00f3ller<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"4770\" data-end=\"4797\">Sant Joan in Ciutadella<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"4800\" data-end=\"4826\">the Patrona de Pollen\u00e7a<\/strong>.
