wife of the accused and mother of five children &#8211; filed a complaint after returning to Ibiza from a trip abroad, finding <strong data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1358\">difficulties in accessing the family home<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1397\">blocking of credit cards<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1458\">loss of access to an e-mail account<\/strong> used in the business environment and the <strong data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1538\">interruption of the domestic service<\/strong> that until then had been working for her.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1580\" data-end=\"1817\">The complainant interpreted these decisions as <strong data-start=\"1628\" data-end=\"1652\">a form of pressure<\/strong> in the context of the negotiation on the distribution of property and joint ventures, which is why she went to court charging the defendant with coercion.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/reports-of-gender-violence-balearic-islands-maintains-the-highest-rate-in-spain\/?swcfpc=1\">Reports of gender violence: Balearic Islands maintains the highest rate in Spain<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1819\" data-end=\"1870\">Significant accredited financial contributions<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1872\" data-end=\"2218\">The judgment states that, regardless of the legal dispute, the defendant <strong data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"2027\">had advanced the complainant an amount of five million euros<\/strong>, in addition to assuming <strong data-start=\"2046\" data-end=\"2082\">the payment of family expenses<\/strong>, including the children&#8217;s education, private health care, housing maintenance, food, travel and service personnel.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2499\">It is also recorded that the complainant <strong data-start=\"2256\" data-end=\"2293\">received periodic transfers<\/strong> of <strong data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2323\">10,000 euros per week<\/strong> and another <strong data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2358\">10,000 euros per month<\/strong> for the children&#8217;s expenses, with the case showing accumulated income reaching <strong data-start=\"2458\" data-end=\"2475\">280,000 euros<\/strong> in a specific period.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"2553\">Court rules out the existence of coercion<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2555\" data-end=\"2848\">The Provincial Court recalls that the crime of coercion requires <strong data-start=\"2622\" data-end=\"2721\">acts of physical, psychological or physical violence aimed at preventing or forcing conduct<\/strong>, and concludes that <strong data-start=\"2738\" data-end=\"2792\">no violent behavior<\/strong> on the part of the defendant that meets these requirements <strong data-start=\"2738\" data-end=\"2792\">has been accredited<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2850\" data-end=\"3127\">In this sense, the judges consider that the decisions adopted by the defendant <strong data-start=\"2938\" data-end=\"2990\">are part of a civil and patrimonial conflict<\/strong>, without establishing a direct relationship between these measures and a criminally relevant intention to coerce the complainant.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/justice-in-ibiza-achieves-lower-pendency-in-the-third-quarter\/?swcfpc=1\">Justice in Ibiza achieves lower pendency in the third quarter<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"3129\" data-end=\"3177\">Final acquittal after rejection of appeal<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3179\" data-end=\"3465\">The Criminal Court of Ibiza initially issued a <strong data-start=\"3234\" data-end=\"3259\">judgment of acquittal<\/strong>, which was appealed by the complainant.
