The Consell de Govern plans to approve this Tuesday the creation of an autonomous <strong data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"721\">Table of Fight against Intrusiveness<\/strong>, a body that will have as a reference base the experience of the Consell de Ibiza, pioneer in the implementation of this type of structures. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"1067\">\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/ibizas-surprising-distinction-to-a-high-ranking-saudi-arabian-official-in-the-fight-against-intrusiveness\/?swcfpc=1\">Ibiza&#8217;s surprising distinction to a high-ranking Saudi Arabian official in the fight against intrusiveness<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"1067\">The new entity will be <strong data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"936\">attached to the Conselleria de Presidencia<\/strong> and will have transversal competences to act in priority areas such as <strong data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1066\">tourism, transport, commerce and leisure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1556\">The creation of the Bureau was announced by the Minister of Tourism, <strong data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1150\">Jaume Bauz\u00e0<\/strong>, during the last edition of the World Travel Market. <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/?s=World+Travel+Market&amp;lang=es\"><em>World Travel Market<\/em><\/a>and is intended as a tool to <strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1285\">evaluate the impact of intrusion<\/strong>, promote technical studies, improve regulations and strengthen <strong data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1409\">coordination between public and private administrations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1556\">In addition, the body will promote <strong data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1471\">effective measures and policies<\/strong> against this problem, which affects various economic sectors of the archipelago.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"2056\"><strong data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"1647\">Ibiza&#8217;s experience has been key for the design of the new autonomic organism<\/strong>, as recognized by the Govern itself to the media <em>\u00daltima Hora<\/em>. On the island, the Consell insular (Island Council) set up its own anti-intrusionism committee, focusing on <strong data-start=\"1799\" data-end=\"1836\">the illegal transport of passengers<\/strong>, both by road and by sea. As a result, <strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1966\">the presence of pirate cabs at the airport was significantly reduced<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"2056\">\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/fewer-people-full-hotels-ibiza-defends-with-data-that-its-strategy-against-intrusiveness-is-already-showing-results\/?swcfpc=1\">Fewer people, full hotels: Ibiza defends with data that its strategy against intrusiveness is already showing results<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2359\">With this move, the Executive presided by <strong data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2123\">Marga Prohens<\/strong> takes a step towards the <strong data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2202\">homogenization of intrusion control policies<\/strong> throughout the Balearic Islands, with a clear commitment to <strong data-start=\"2259\" data-end=\"2290\">export the Ibizan model<\/strong> and extend its application to new sectors and areas of competence.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2359\">The Ibiza Table Against Intrusiveness<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2359\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/municipios\/constituida-formalmente-la-mesa-contra-el-intrusismo-de-ibiza-con-la-participacion-de-las-plataformas-digitales-de-alojamiento-turistico\/?swcfpc=1\">Established on April 1, the <strong>Ibiza Table against Intrusiveness<\/strong> was <\/a>defined as a forum for dialogue and debate to address, with all the agents involved, the problems derived from the illegal supply on the island, both in tourist accommodation and transport.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2359\">There are the Balearic Government, the five municipalities of the island, the Government Delegation, representatives of the Guardia Civil and National Police, representatives of the hotel and economic employers of the island, trade unions, and the main digital platforms for tourist accommodation: <em>Airbnb, Booking, Holidu<\/em> and the APAT Association.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2359\">\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/agentes-contra-el-intrusismo-la-figura-pionera-que-ya-trabaja-en-ibiza-y-que-ha-abierto-decenas-de-expedientes-por-alquiler-ilegal\/?swcfpc=1\">Agents against intrusion: the pioneer figure that already works in Ibiza and has opened dozens of files for illegal renting.<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2359\">&#8220;The figures confirm that the fight against intrusion is working,&#8221; defended the president of the Consell, <strong>Vicent Mar\u00ed<\/strong>, during the <strong><em>World Travel Market<\/em> (WTM)<\/strong> in London. &#8220;Many tourists who used to choose the irregular offer are now opting for regulated hotels,&#8221; he added. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Ibestat report, every day in August between 18,000 and 20,000 people have been in Ibiza less than last year. In parallel, the hotel occupancy survey of the Federation of Ibiza and Formentera points to an increase in the same month of almost 1% and an increase in the resident population of more than 2,000 people. <\/p>\n<p>Inspections by the Consell and SITEibiza <strong>have identified and eliminated more than 14,500 places of illegal tourist accommodation<\/strong>.
