The detainees, who <strong data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"539\">have been imprisoned<\/strong>, are allegedly involved in <strong data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"610\">25 crimes against property<\/strong> which caused <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"678\">economic damage of close to 200,000 euros<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"1072\">As reported by the National Police on <strong data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"752\">December 30, 2025<\/strong>, those arrested resided in <strong data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"799\">Nice (France)<\/strong> and had no known address in Spain. They used a motorhome as a means of transport and operational base to move around different autonomous communities, including the <strong data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1007\">Valencian Community<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1022\">Andalusia<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1042\">the Balearic Islands<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1071\">Community of Madrid<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1593\">The investigation began last <strong data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1132\">September<\/strong>, following the robbery of a <strong data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1201\">safe in a shopping center in Elche<\/strong>, from which <strong data-start=\"1224\" data-end=\"1251\">8,800 euros in cash<\/strong> were stolen. From this fact, the agents were able to identify the alleged perpetrators and found that it was an organized group dedicated to itinerant crime. The investigations allowed them to be linked to <strong data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1489\">ten other crimes<\/strong>, among them a <strong data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1546\">robbery in an armored van in Ibiza<\/strong>, from which they managed to steal <strong data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1592\">60,000 euros.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1651\">Specialized in safes and vehicle thefts<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"2016\">Investigations revealed that the group specialized in <strong data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"1766\">robberies with force and thefts from safes<\/strong>, as well as <strong data-start=\"1780\" data-end=\"1817\">thefts from inside vehicles<\/strong>. In order to commit the crimes, they carried out <strong data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"1893\">prior surveillance and surveillance<\/strong>, always acting in a coordinated manner and selecting targets in tourist enclaves and areas of high economic level. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2018\" data-end=\"2351\">Their usual haul included <strong data-start=\"2044\" data-end=\"2101\">cash, jewelry and electronic devices<\/strong>, which they then placed on the <strong data-start=\"2138\" data-end=\"2155\">black market<\/strong>. In addition, all members used <strong data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2238\">false identities and documentation<\/strong>, with one of them using <strong data-start=\"2272\" data-end=\"2307\">up to 24 different identities<\/strong> to make police identification more difficult. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2353\" data-end=\"2402\">Arrest in Benalm\u00e1dena and seized material<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"2671\">The agents recently detected the movement of the group from <strong data-start=\"2475\" data-end=\"2509\">France to the Costa del Sol<\/strong>, which led to suspicions of the imminent commission of new crimes. Finally, the four members were <strong data-start=\"2619\" data-end=\"2670\">located and arrested in Benalm\u00e1dena (M\u00e1laga)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2673\" data-end=\"3051\">During the <strong data-start=\"2684\" data-end=\"2725\">entry and search of the motorhome<\/strong>, the agents found a number of items hidden in hidden <strong data-start=\"2776\" data-end=\"2787\">boxes<\/strong> scattered around the interior of the vehicle. A total of <strong data-start=\"2855\" data-end=\"2883\">24,000 euros in cash<\/strong>, nearly <strong data-start=\"2894\" data-end=\"2930\">1,000 euros in foreign currency<\/strong>, a <strong data-start=\"2936\" data-end=\"2968\">100 franc gold coin<\/strong>, as well as <strong data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3050\">numerous high-value electronic devices and various pieces of jewelry<\/strong> were seized. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3053\" data-end=\"3421\">Thanks to all the efforts made, the National Police have managed to <strong data-start=\"3133\" data-end=\"3179\">clarify 25 crimes against property<\/strong>, committed in towns in <strong data-start=\"3209\" data-end=\"3270\">Alicante, Malaga, the Balearic Islands and the Community of Madrid<\/strong>, with an estimated economic damage of around <strong data-start=\"3316\" data-end=\"3333\">200,000 euros<\/strong>.
