This was expressed this Monday during the annual balance of the Government Delegation, largely focused on the crisis of access to housing suffered by the archipelago. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"850\">\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/the-government-does-not-confirm-the-caminando-fronteras-figures-and-recognizes-63-deaths-on-the-migratory-route-to-the-balearic-islands\/?swcfpc=1\">The Government does not confirm the Caminando Fronteras figures and recognizes 63 deaths on the migratory route to the Balearic Islands.<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"1107\"><strong data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"1014\">Rodr\u00edguez has asked Prohens that, if he maintains his refusal to apply the state regulation, he at least allow the municipalities to declare tensioned zones<\/strong>, a measure contemplated in the current legislation and already applied in municipalities such as A Coru\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1256\"><strong data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1248\">&#8220;Refusing to apply the state law is giving up effective tools that would alleviate the drama of access to housing in the Balearic Islands,&#8221;<\/strong> he said.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1310\"><strong data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1310\">Criticizes Prohens for favoring developers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1614\">During his appearance, the delegate has demanded that the Balearic Government <strong data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1438\">prioritize subsidized housing (VPO)<\/strong> against those of limited price. In his opinion, the latter <strong data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1542\">benefit developers and speculators<\/strong>, while VPOs guarantee access to a home at fair prices. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1885\">Rodr\u00edguez recalled that, within the State Housing Plan, the State covers <strong data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"1730\">60% of the cost of each project<\/strong>, while the communities only have to contribute 40%. &#8221; <strong data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1876\">It is an affordable effort that multiplies the social impact of public investment,&#8221;<\/strong> he stressed.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"1953\"><strong data-start=\"1891\" data-end=\"1953\">752 social rental apartments and 2,900 planned housing units<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2404\">Mr. Rodriguez has detailed that <strong data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2081\">at present there are 752 social rental apartments under construction in 23 municipalities of the islands<\/strong>, financed in part with <strong data-start=\"2108\" data-end=\"2150\">97.7 Million from the Recovery Plan<\/strong>. Besides, the Ministry of Housing has budgeted <strong data-start=\"2203\" data-end=\"2253\">71.4 Million through the state plans<\/strong> and another <strong data-start=\"2262\" data-end=\"2278\">197 Million<\/strong> through the public company SEPES, now called Casa 47, to which must be added <strong data-start=\"2360\" data-end=\"2403\">18 Million in nominative subsidies<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2408\" data-end=\"2655\">In total, the funds will enable <strong data-start=\"2440\" data-end=\"2466\">2,900 new<\/strong> social rental <strong data-start=\"2440\" data-end=\"2466\">housing units<\/strong> in the Balearic Islands, in addition to promoting <strong data-start=\"2518\" data-end=\"2558\">12 sustainable mobility projects<\/strong>, such as the extension of the Palma metro or new bus stops in Ibiza, Menorca and Mallorca.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2657\" data-end=\"2724\"><strong data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2724\">Economic and social balance of the central government in the Balearic Islands<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2726\" data-end=\"3060\">The delegate has defended that, between 2019 and 2025, state funding to the community has reached <strong data-start=\"2827\" data-end=\"2849\">historic highs<\/strong>, with <strong data-start=\"2855\" data-end=\"2880\">an increase of 60.6%.<\/strong> For 2026, the Balearic Islands is expected to receive <strong data-start=\"2922\" data-end=\"2979\">4,206 million from the regional financing system<\/strong>, in addition to a <strong data-start=\"2994\" data-end=\"3029\">fiscal margin of 153.4 million<\/strong> due to the new deficit path. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3062\" data-end=\"3094\">In social matters, he highlighted:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3421\">\n<li data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3195\">\n<p data-start=\"3098\" data-end=\"3195\"><strong data-start=\"3098\" data-end=\"3121\">41,600 workers<\/strong> benefited from the increase in the <strong data-start=\"3153\" data-end=\"3194\">Minimum Interprofessional Wage (SMI).<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3196\" data-end=\"3293\">\n<p data-start=\"3198\" data-end=\"3293\">An average increase of <strong data-start=\"3221\" data-end=\"3261\">360 euros per month in the pensions<\/strong> of more than 200,000 pensioners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3294\" data-end=\"3421\">\n<p data-start=\"3296\" data-end=\"3421\"><strong data-start=\"3296\" data-end=\"3343\">27,221 recipients of the Minimum Vital Income<\/strong> and almost <strong data-start=\"3351\" data-end=\"3401\">19,000 beneficiaries of the electricity social voucher<\/strong> in the archipelago.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3423\" data-end=\"3703\">He also referred to the progress made in employment, with a <strong data-start=\"3478\" data-end=\"3529\">219% increase in permanent contracts<\/strong> in the last two terms of office, and to the investment of <strong data-start=\"3583\" data-end=\"3619\">more than 430 million in education<\/strong>, especially in Vocational Training, which has reached record numbers of students.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4186\" data-end=\"4250\"><strong data-start=\"4190\" data-end=\"4250\">Boosting infrastructure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4252\" data-end=\"4474\">Among the projects financed by the State, an investment of <strong data-start=\"4323\" data-end=\"4358\">three million euros in Ibiza<\/strong>, within the World Heritage Cities Program, stands out, as well as advances in security infrastructures:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4476\" data-end=\"4645\">\n<li data-start=\"4476\" data-end=\"4563\">\n<p data-start=\"4478\" data-end=\"4563\"><strong data-start=\"4478\" data-end=\"4527\">New Civil Guard barracks in Santany\u00ed<\/strong>, with an investment of 7.7 million.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4564\" data-end=\"4645\">\n<p data-start=\"4566\" data-end=\"4645\"><strong data-start=\"4566\" data-end=\"4612\">New National Police station in Ma\u00f3<\/strong>, whose works will begin in
