The <strong data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"734\">061<\/strong> professionals of <strong data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"734\">Ibiza and Formentera<\/strong> have taken a step further in their social commitment with the launch of the charity calendar <strong data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"852\">&#8220;Emergencias con Coraz\u00f3n&#8221; (Emergencies with Heart),<\/strong> whose proceeds will go entirely to the <strong data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"970\">Multiple Sclerosis Association of Ibiza and Formentera (AEMIF).<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1360\">The initiative has a twofold objective: to make visible the work carried out by the emergency services on the islands and to contribute financially to the work of an organization that accompanies people affected by neurological diseases and injuries of cerebral and cardiovascular origin. The forecast is to sell <strong data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1301\">600 units<\/strong>, which would raise between <strong data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1359\">4,000 and 4,500 euros<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1410\">An initiative that was born spontaneously<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1811\">The origin of the calendar dates back to a shift last <strong data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1493\">September<\/strong>. It was then when, informally, several professionals of <strong data-start=\"1561\" data-end=\"1573\">SAMU 061<\/strong> began to consider the possibility of promoting a solidarity action. This was explained by <strong data-start=\"1662\" data-end=\"1679\">Vicente Nadal<\/strong>, UGT delegate in the Balearic Islands of the public company <strong data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1740\">GSAIB<\/strong>, who stressed that the idea came &#8220;naturally&#8221; among colleagues.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1813\" data-end=\"2016\">From that conversation came the proposal to create a project that would channel the social commitment of the healthcare community and transform it into direct aid for an association in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2018\" data-end=\"2074\">Representation of all professional categories<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2298\">The project was promoted by <strong data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2124\">M\u00f3nica \u00c1lvarez<\/strong>, nurse; <strong data-start=\"2137\" data-end=\"2153\">\u00c1ngel Crespo<\/strong>, physician; and <strong data-start=\"2165\" data-end=\"2182\">Vicente Nadal<\/strong>, health emergency technician, a trio representing the main professional categories of the service.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2623\">&#8220;The objective was to do our bit and help an association in need,&#8221; explained the promoters. In that process, the choice of <strong data-start=\"2454\" data-end=\"2463\">AEMIF<\/strong> was clear. &#8220;It works with people suffering from neurological diseases and injuries, many of them linked to emergencies that we deal with on a daily basis,&#8221; they pointed out.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2625\" data-end=\"2770\">Under this premise, the name <strong data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2690\">&#8220;Emergencias con Coraz\u00f3n&#8221; (Emergencies with Heart)<\/strong> was coined <strong data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2690\">,<\/strong> a name that seeks to reflect the most human side of healthcare work.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2772\" data-end=\"2830\">Involvement of ground and air medical transport.<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2832\" data-end=\"3130\">The calendar has the altruistic participation of professionals of the <strong data-start=\"2905\" data-end=\"2947\">land and air medical transport<\/strong> of SAMU 061 and <strong data-start=\"2966\" data-end=\"2975\">GSAIB<\/strong> in Ibiza and Formentera.
