{"id":148263,"date":"2026-01-05T11:26:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T10:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/sin-categorizar\/the-govern-proposes-more-than-528000-euros-in-aid-to-compensate-for-the-transport-of-water-in-tanker-trucks\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T11:26:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T10:26:07","slug":"the-govern-proposes-more-than-528000-euros-in-aid-to-compensate-for-the-transport-of-water-in-tanker-trucks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/en\/current-news\/the-govern-proposes-more-than-528000-euros-in-aid-to-compensate-for-the-transport-of-water-in-tanker-trucks\/","title":{"rendered":"The Govern proposes more than 528,000 euros in aid to compensate for the transport of water in tanker trucks."},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"663\" data-end=\"1113\">The <strong data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"683\">Balearic Government<\/strong>, through the <strong data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"744\">Ministry of the Sea and Water Cycle<\/strong>, has published in the <strong data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"812\">Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB)<\/strong> the <strong data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"855\">proposal of provisional resolution<\/strong> of the call for <strong data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"982\">aid to compensate the extraordinary costs of transporting drinking water in tanker trucks<\/strong> to municipalities that during <strong data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1020\">2025<\/strong> were forced to resort to this system to ensure <strong data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1112\">water supply<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1443\">As reported by the Conselleria in a <strong data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1174\">press release<\/strong>, the proposal includes a total amount of <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1236\">528,285 euros<\/strong>, corresponding to expenses <strong data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1326\">duly justified by the applicant municipalities<\/strong>, within a call endowed with a maximum of <strong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1396\">700,000 euros<\/strong>, charged to the <strong data-start=\"1414\" data-end=\"1442\">regional budget<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1797\">The purpose of these <strong data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1467\">subsidies<\/strong> is to <strong data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1525\">alleviate the additional economic cost<\/strong> borne by the municipalities to ensure a <strong data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1593\">basic service<\/strong> to the population in <strong data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1651\">exceptional drought situations<\/strong>, especially in those cases in which they do not have <strong data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1743\">sufficient resources of their own<\/strong> or do not have an <strong data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1796\">operational connection to the high voltage network.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1799\" data-end=\"2085\">The published resolution is of a <strong data-start=\"1829\" data-end=\"1853\">provisional nature<\/strong> and now opens a <strong data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1916\">hearing period of seven working days<\/strong>, during which the municipalities included may <strong data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2002\">accept the aid proposal<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2030\">present allegations<\/strong>, before the <strong data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2084\">final resolution<\/strong> is approved.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2087\" data-end=\"2479\">In accordance with the <strong data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2127\">regulatory bases<\/strong>, the call for proposals is processed on <strong data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2201\">a non-competitive basis<\/strong>, which implies that the grants are awarded to <strong data-start=\"2247\" data-end=\"2312\">all applications that meet the established requirements<\/strong>.
