The Espai Cultural Can Ventosa will host this Sunday, January 11, 2026, ‘\u00a1Vive la zarzuela!’,<\/strong> a musical show that pays tribute to the Spanish lyrical genre from a fresh, dynamic and close look to the public.<\/p>\n

The proposal comes from the hand of the Ibizan company Art3<\/strong> and is organized by the Ajuntament d’Eivissa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The concert will begin at 19.00 hours<\/strong> and tickets are already on sale for 12 euros<\/strong> through the website culturaentradesonline.eivissa.es.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Those who purchased tickets for the October 12<\/strong> performance will be able to use them for this new date, keeping the seats they selected<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A postponement forced by bad weather<\/h3>\n

The show was initially scheduled for October 12, but had to be postponed due to adverse weather conditions<\/strong>, which caused the cancellation of several artists’ flights from Mallorca. This situation also prevented access to the theater during the morning, a key moment for the transfer of material and technical assembly. <\/p>\n

Overcoming these setbacks, ‘\u00a1Vive la zarzuela!’ returns with more strength<\/strong> and with the same enthusiasm to offer the Ibizan public an unforgettable musical evening.<\/p>\n

The great jewels of the zarzuela repertoire<\/h3>\n

The concert proposes a journey through some of the most emblematic and beloved pages of the zarzuela repertoire. The program includes excerpts from such well-known titles as La Gran V\u00eda<\/strong>, Do\u00f1a Francisquita<\/strong>, Marina<\/strong>, Luisa Fernanda<\/strong>, La verbena de la Paloma<\/strong> and La revoltosa<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Live music, song, dance and storytelling are combined to create a festive, close and accessible<\/strong> experience, designed for all audiences, both residents and visitors who wish to approach one of the most representative genres of the Spanish musical tradition.<\/p>\n

Art3 and a first-rate guest cast<\/h3>\n

The Art3<\/strong> company is formed by three Ibizan artists with a solid joint trajectory: Luc\u00eda Herranz<\/strong> (soprano), Roc\u00edo Osuna<\/strong> (dancer) and Elvira Ramon<\/strong> (pianist). With more than 15 years of experience<\/strong> in the creation of multidisciplinary shows, they have signed productions such as Les fades dels somnis<\/em>, La Pepa<\/em>, Homenaje a Lorca<\/em>, Sota la lluna<\/em>, Siglo XX que te vas<\/em> and several concerts commemorating the Day of Tolerance<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

On this occasion, the show also has an outstanding guest cast from Palma de Mallorca, composed of Yolanda Riera<\/strong> (mezzo-soprano), Roger Berenguer<\/strong> (tenor) and Jorge Tello<\/strong> (baritone). They are joined by a group of dancers from Madrid: Juan Carlos S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, Jos\u00e9 M. Carriazo<\/strong>, Diego D\u00edaz<\/strong>, Feli Ruiz<\/strong> and Cristina N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The cast is completed by the actor and narrator Miguel Vingut<\/strong>, in charge of guiding the audience throughout the show with humor and complicity<\/strong>, bringing cohesion and closeness to the proposal.<\/p>\n
